"...[Pastor Mark Burns] repeated four times: "Donald Trump is pro-faith. He is pro-faith. He is pro-faith. He is pro-faith."
But an attendee called out loudly that Trump is "profane" - presumably referring to Trump's use of the word "pussy" on stage to mock opponent Sen. Ted Cruz and other such statements over the course of the campaign.
Burns responded by admitting that Trump's language is profane.
"Let me tell you one thing, I'm grateful you said that, that Donald Trump is profane, and that's what you're saying," he said. "Donald Trump is profane, but guess what? ... I don't know about you but I don't trust a man that doesn't have mistakes. I don't trust a man that doesn't have the ability to have mistakes and then recognize those mistakes and then do what it takes to change."
Burns tied the argument into the Christian gospel, that no one can earn salvation through works alone...."

I saw a movie a few years back about the persecution of Christians including priests. A NON BELIEVER with the encouragement of his Christian wife rallied the country. After a bloodbath, Mexico’s Christians prevailed. I have to go with where the Holy Spirit takes me and for right now its Trump.
“The DMR is a pro-Democrat outfit.”
And Glen Beck is a Mormon.
I agree. It’s too bad more people don’t see through this mountebank with the shifting ideology guided only by his own ego.
This whole MESS of a election is sad. And Christians and concerned American’s need to wake up and see what is happening.
We need a revival in our land. Otherwise the building of THE WALL by President TRUMP will enclose the worst cesspool of sin the world has known.
God’s Judgement is about to fall on our land.
I always thought (and have been taught) that tithing is still Biblical, even though it’s Old Testament, a lot like the commandments. Giving over and above our tithes is what I thought were offerings. All are to be done generously and joyfully.
I still think that giving below 1% for the Cruz family is not exactly generous, and can’t be all that joyfully done if the amount is so low. I agree with the focus on his relationship with the truth as well.
I started out liking Cruz, but something about him turns me off now. The way he speaks - it’s not natural. Very condescending, measured, too rehearsed.
Must have a definition of profane different from mine.
I know that gets said, but it’s not what they are taught.
Seriously, what kind of a moron compares using the P-word to being an adulterer?Except, of course, that Trump IS and adulterer. He boasts about it. He wrote about his many adulterous affairs in his book.
It isn't so much the adultery as it is Trump's unrepentant nature about it.
And that's why so many of us can't understand the morons who excuse such behavior.
what kind of clueless “pastor” is this guy??? comes across like he has absolutely no idea what the Bible even says or what God calls us to.
God help us all.
Is he talking about the same Donald Trump who refuses to ask God for forgiveness?
Thanks for posting (again) the DNC talking points against Cruz. I suppose the ends justify the means with you.
Trump freaks out when asked about abortion again
And people wonder why conservatives do not trust this arrogant clown??
Donald Trump is the only politician to ever utter a swear word!
NOT!

Vice President Joe Biden
2010: Known for his blunt talk, Vice President Joe Biden was heard telling Obama “this is a big f——— deal” during the March 23, 2010, signing of the health care reform bill. While he was whispering into the president’s ear, the profanity was picked up by nearby microphones.
Vice President Dick Cheney
2004: Tensions are nothing new on the Senate floor. But an incident between Vice President Dick Cheney and a Democratic senator took it to another level.
Cheney told Sen. Patrick Leahy on June 24, 2004, to “go f-— yourself” when the Vermont Democrat blasted Halliburton’s role in Iraq.
Sen. John Kerry
“I voted for what I thought was best for the country. ... Did I expect George Bush to f-— it up as badly as he did? I don’t think anybody did,” Kerry said, referring to his vote allowing the U.S. to use military force in Iraq.
Kerry also made news during the campaign when he reportedly called his Secret Service agent a “son of a bitch.”
George W. Bush
2000: Then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush, running in the 2000 presidential race, was caught on a live microphone tearing into New York Times reporter Adam Clymer. At a Labor Day 2000 rally in Naperville, Illinois, Bush called him a “major-league a—hole.”
President Harry S. Truman
I didn’t fire him because he was a dumb son of a bitch, although he was, but that’s not against the law for generals. If it was, half to three-quarters of them would be in jail.”
Sen. John McCain
2007: McCain’s temper is nothing new to those who know the Arizona senator.
And that anger especially came out in a May 17, 2007, meeting on immigration, according to The Washington Post.
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, was none too happy when McCain showed up late, saying, “wait a second here. I’ve been sitting in here for all of these negotiations, and you just parachute in here on the last day. You’re out of line.”
McCain shot back, “F-— you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room.”
President Lyndon B. Johnson
1965: In a discussion about Cyprus in 1965, Johnson reportedly told Greek Ambassador Alexandros Matsas, “f-— your parliament and your constitution.”
ETC, ETC, ETC.
Always comes in handy, for the Spamalot ;-)
I’m glad to see you are entitled to throw the first stone. I never thought I would live to see it. Thanks to The Blaze and that weird Glen Beck I’m getting my religious head screwed on right. I though I was saved by Grace alone and not by works. Silly me. Is it in the constitution that there is no religious test for President or did we just make that up?
Agree....for (his attempt to be) the Holier than Thou candidate, CRuz has failed miserably with his dirty tricks campaign.

There is no one on earth that does not “have a problem” with God. If it were for for Jesus, we’d all be up the dirty creek without a paddle.
Christians supporting Cruz should dismount their high horses. He just lied and cheated in Iowa - a sin. God is not thrilled with liars. And Cruz probably sins every week just like you and like me.
Just WHERE are you own words/thought relating to the topic of this thread"?
As usual......they're NOWHERE; you might as well just be a mechanical search engine, with no AI at all.
She is incapable of doing that and neither has she any thoughts or words of her own to post; unless it is to trash those who disagree with her.
