The personalized letters target individual Iowa voters and identifies them as having failed to vote in prior elections. They are admonished and then encouraged to vote this year. In addition the letters identify the neighbors of the voter, and provides their voting history.
The text reads:
"You are receiving this election notice because of low expected voter turnout in your area. Your individual voting history as well as your neighbors' are public record. Their scores are published below, and many of them will see your score as well. CAUCUS ON MONDAY TO IMPROVE YOUR SCORE and please encourage your neighbors to caucus as well. A follow-up notice may be issued following Monday's caucuses".
In an effort to shame the recipient, the notice also informs the targeted voter their neighbors have also been notified of the recipients poor voting record.

“Not that thereâs anything wrong with that.”
;)
I haven’t listened to Mark Levin for years but I really can’t wait to hear what he says about this. This election is phenomenal! Like a house of cards, so many who have mouthed positions and principles now have to defend their lack of them or do an about face.
There is a subculture of Cruz (and Trump) supporters who are.
Regarding your tag line, jeb has a new TV ad out saying Trump makes fun of the handicapped and basically does not have their backs! I almost fell off my chair! Jeb kills them!
Got a link for that intermission clip? tia
I agree. He just rubs me the wrong way. It is visceral with me. I have similar feeling with a couple of other politicians and family and friends.
“Quit trying to act like getting a piece of mail with your public information in it is equivalent to being invaded by a conquering army.”
Where the H@!! did you go to school? Or did you?
Independent Journal says it was confirmed by the Cruz campaign to be one of their flyers. So unless you have doubts about them too, it seems to be confirmed.
“This is the much talked about ground game.”
Oh....so this is the type of crap Cruz people find to be cool and acceptable?
“Oooooh, my principals. I love the constitution more than you!!!!!”
But we got hold of voting records, and are using them in mailers to compel you to vote for Ted.
“But Trump would no doubt. Itâs right up his alley.”
The very tasteful and encouraging mailers that Trump sends out are reflections of a man who knows what good taste consists of. See the letter that someone posted on this thread, compare it to the one Cruz produced and compare.
It will prove you wrong. Cruz’s ill advised little threat isn’t even in the same ballpark with Trump’s style.
Hoser go Home! Lol
He is a fanatical zealot.
He will swear up and down that he values liberty and the constitution more than anyone else, but will then see no problem with this...because it’s from Ted, and no true conservative can ever doubt him!
Made a link for you :)
It’s common practice for any candidate.
Just throw it away and vote.
Oh give it a rest.
It’s actually a big whatever for me. I think it is either a dishonest stunt by Conservative Tree House, and/or or a dirty trick sent out by Trump since he needs the big turnout. Do you think Donald Trump is above resorting to dirty tricks? I don’t. And finally, I can’t imagine any campaign sending such a mailer in their own name, can you? Something smells rotten about this whole article, but the reality tv droolers who blindly follow the bright orange hairpiece don’t even think to question it.
Go Canada!
Where?
“Oh, btw, extensive research shows that shaming mailers generate turnout by people who donât usually vote to go out and counter their neighborsâ votes. If reaseach didnât support this, campaigns would not do it.”
So this is how it happened in that other nation. Amazing! I wouldn’t believe that people could be as dense and obtuse! You keep your research. Knowing history prevents a lot of tragedy when one takes instruction from other’s mistakes. Achtung!
Present the evidence, and the FR court will rule.
