Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America founder Paul Rieckhoff tweeted Wednesday that he would decline any contributions that came from the event, which Trump has proposed in place of his attending Fox News' debate this week.
"If offered, @IAVA will decline donations from Trump's event. We need strong policies from candidates, not to be used for political stunts," he said.

And they keep them in the back too! It’s like Rosa Parks died for nuthin.
Stood on stage with and honored traitors to those he is supposed to represent with politeness and kindness.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America founder Paul Rieckhoff.... does that mean he speaks for all members?
disgusting, vets needs all the money they can get and this Democrat tool is now playing politics .
The Chubbie chap?
You do know that this Anti-Bush character is nothing more than a propagandist and, not a member of any legitimate veterans organization - correct?
A Message to Paul Rieckhoff: the troops aren’t props

Paul Rieckhoff, the executive director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, has a piece in the Huffington Post today entitled “A Message to All Candidates: Our Troops Aren’t Props”, of course, his message is just for the Republican candidates, because he’s referring to the incident last week when Corporal Jesse Thorsen spoke at a Ron Paul rally.
Yeah, it’s definitely not his opinion. Because, when Rieckhoff came back from Iraq in 2004, it only took him a few weeks to criticize the president on the airwaves in the form of a rebuttal following Bush’s weekly presidential radio address for the Kerry campaign. He then formed the radically anti-Bush organization, OpTruth. The board of OpTruth included our old friends Ann Wright, Paul Bucha and Jesse Ventura.
As the 2008 elections drew closer, Rieckhoff realized that OpTruth was too radical to help the Democrats, so he morphed OpTruth into IAVA and took a more sober approach to politics. that’s when they hit on the idea to establish a scorecard system for rating Senators - not surprisingly, Democrats scored better on the IAVA scorecard in regards to veterans’ issues than did Republicans. Barbara Boxer scored better than John McCain, as did Barack Obama - you get the point.

So Paul Rieckhoff, the founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, an organization which sprang from the anti-Bush group OpTruth, decided that he won’t accept any money from Trump. Trump didn’t offer any money to the IAVA, so I’m thinking that just by turning down the funds from Trump before the money is even offered to IAVA is a political stunt, the same kind that Rieckhoff is accusing Trump of perpetrating. IAVA is certainly not the only veterans’ organization, and Paul would only waste the money on advancing his own name anyway - that’s what he does best. I’m thinking that if Trump offered Rieckhoff a slot on celebrity Apprentice, Rieckhoff would trample pedestrians to get to the studio. If the money was offered by Hillary Clinton he’d waste half of it on a presentation ceremony.
By the way, why isn’t there any Democrat candidate offering money to veterans’ and wounded warrior issues?
Money is important to veterans and their issues which need fixing, does it matter where the money comes from? Really matter in The Great Scheme of Things? Many of us veterans are tired of being used by Paul Rieckhoff and his minions at IAVA for their political stunts.

Silly me! And I thought these wounded warrior groups were all about the wounded warriors . . . not a dhimmi hate group.
While I won’t get into the wisdom of what Trump is or isn’t doing, I know something about vets groups. This one is leftist.
“Rieckhoff stood on stage with President Obama, Clay’s mother, Susan and other national leaders for a signing ceremony at the White House.”
Let’s finish the paragraph before you call him a “Dembot”.
“President Obama signed the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans (SAV) Act into law at a public signing ceremony inside the White House. Susan and Richard Selke, parents of Clay Hunt, and Paul Rieckhoff, IAVA CEO and Founder, joined the President on-stage.”
He was there because they signed a law that helps veterans.... It’s not like he strolled on up to the White House and had a beer with the guy. He got a law passed to help people who actually have served in the military. He was invited to see something he worked hard for get passed.
To help veterans. Not sure if you caught that part.
On the other hand, that’s a pretty funny gif!
You called it right-—just because this a-—h-—e doesn’t like Trump he makes sure all vets in his group would suffer loss of revenue-—that’s the way to help the vets who need the assist-—WW2 combat vet
So am I. He knew exactly what Trump was grandstanding, as would any other candidate that pulled this stunt.
I like the lures she uses-——
God Bless You!
Indeed
So he admitted his org is in it for the politics, not to help the vets they claim they are organized to help.
Jerk.
There is one in the photo lower left. .......................... What is this, a game of where’s Waldo? There are 3 in the back rows. Just finished the write up in Wiki, he was with the National Guard probably as a round up/out unit with the 3rd ID? IMO, Attached ARNG units are not always fully equipped and therefore are assigned to less dangerous areas. I’d bet on the type of service he did, he has political aspirations. I wonder why he left? Hmmmmmm?
Whoever said Trump was gonna give any money to this group in the first place..
Screw that bastard
