FBI going 'right to the source' in Clinton email probe, interviewing intel agencies
Fox News ^ | January 26, 2016 | Catherine Herridge, Pamela K. Browne

Posted on 01/26/2016 2:43:15 PM PST by jazusamo

The FBI is going straight to the source in its investigation of classified emails that crossed Hillary Clinton's personal server, speaking with the intelligence agencies - and in some cases, the individuals - that generated the information, two intelligence sources familiar with the probe told Fox News.

Investigators are meeting with the agencies and individuals to determine the classification level in the emails. The step speaks to the diligence with which the bureau is handling the investigation, despite the former secretary of state's claims that the matter boils down to a mere interagency dispute.

"This is not merely a difference of opinion between the State Department and the Department of Justice," one intelligence source, who is not authorized to speak on the record, told Fox News, referring to comments on the Sunday talk shows and by the Clinton campaign downplaying the FBI's investigation. "The bureau will go directly to depose specific individuals in agencies who generated the highly classified materials."

The source added, "At the end of the day it will be a paper case. Emails never disappear because computers never forget."

A former senior FBI intelligence officer, while not directly involved in the Clinton email investigation, previously told Fox News it was standard practice for the bureau to go directly to the originating source because it is cleaner and maintains the integrity of the investigation.

"You want to go right to the source," Timothy Gill Sr., a former senior FBI intelligence officer, said. "Investigative protocol would demand that."

It's time the FBI sends their recommendation to DOJ and put Loretta Lynch and 0bama on the hot seat, I doubt Mrs. Bill Clinton will be happy no matter which way it goes.

The headlines always focus in PIAPS but the Obama administration had to know this was going on.

I think that any indictment of PIAPS might have considerable amounts of spatter implicating the Rainbow Hut

Others should note how, just 11 years after the end of the Civil War, US politicians on both sides easily dismissed the underlying reason for the war and the deaths of 600K soldiers (and a million more wounded) when it stood in the way of their grasping, greedy hands.

I think they are trying to build up outrage among enough people so that this can't be swept under the rug. If enough information gets out to enough people, it gets harder and harder to look the other way and let Hillary have a pass for something that would ordinarily get someone sent to prison.

I think the FBI agents are trying to build a consensus and preference cascade.

I keep saying this. The only way Obama stays out of Prison is for the next President to refuse to put him there.

Obama belongs in prison. Everyone associated with getting him into office, and most especially the media people, need to go to prison. Obama's entire staff needs to go to prison. We will have to build more prisons just to house everyone in the Obama administration and their contacts, who need to go to prison.

A good point and I pray you’re right, if anyone deserves indictment she does.

I agree with you. Comey so going to make it very, very difficult for Lynch to decline prosecution. Not impossible, mind you, but very, very difficult. And if she does watch for Comey to resign loudly and then talk, also loudly.

Hillary is finished.

Emails never disappear because computers never forget.

So what they are saying is...they COULD find Lois Lerners emails if they wanted?

Oh please? The FBI couldn't even find out who hired Craig Livingstone and why when it came to Hillary? Vince Foster? Waco evidence destroyed? Missing? Chi-com defense technology sales? Moving that authority from DOD to state so they could do it? Ron Brown?

Please? If they didn't get the Clintons last century they sure as hell aren't touching them now.

It is important to note that the State Department does not have, and has not seen, the emails Hillary deleted. The FBI evidently does.

“It’s time the FBI sends their recommendation to DOJ and put Loretta Lynch and 0bama on the hot seat, I doubt Mrs. Bill Clinton will be happy no matter which way it goes. “

Lynch will take it under advisement, say there isn’t enough evidence and will drop it. The media will say it is a VRWC witch hunt and all the talkies will blame it on a Republican war on women.

Carville you magnificent bastard I read your book!!!!

My suspicion is the kenyan is setting up a brokered convention.

Tin foil hat time:

1)Let Hillary win the nomination
2)Indict her
3)Then pardon her in exchange for dropping out of the race.

Under that scenario the kenyan can pick the next Dem POTUS candidate.

All these leaks and undocumented comment about the investigation could also be misdirection.

I'll believe that the FBI is serious when I see the Fat Lady doing the Perp-Walk.

They don’t need to go to prison - they need to be booked on Dancing With The Stars ... dancing the Tyburn Jig.
