"The ad is very misleading. In fact, it outright lies about a widow's home being bulldozed," Pierson tells Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. "When you look at the facts, there is a process in place for eminent domain which was followed in this instance. Ms. Coking ended up keeping her property for years, because Mr. Trump didn't purchase it, and it ended up saving him a fortune," Pierson adds. In 2014, 16 years after the court battle ended and several years after Coking moved to California, her grandson sold the house at auction for $530,000, far less than Trump was willing to pay her in the 1990s. Who turned around and sold it 3 months later and made 12% profit for his investors. Tidy profit and quick sell.
“”Ad exposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman’s home to create a limo parking lot” ; Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 22, 2016”
You might take a few remedial reading lessons. Your English comp isn’t so hot either.
He did use eminent domain to bulldoze the building. That’s a fact. Whether he did accomplish it or not, the intent was there as were the attempt.
So, you’re nuts.
So, if someone is trying to set fire to a building and someone comes along and throws water on it before it can catch the building on fire, the arsonist is not guilty
-————————————————————————————If a politico came out and lied saying he had burned the building to the ground, I would be curious why he would lie.
Are you now comparing eminent domain to someone who is an arsonist? This is really getting silly.

Do a search on Louise Sunshine at the Vanity Fair link. Donald Trump is a sleazoid nogoodnik. I’ll vote for him if he wins the primary because of his professed stance on immigration, but Cruz is my first choice. Trump is the kind of guy who makes professional pols look like choir boys.
tlozo has the words form the comercial: Commercial says “colluded with Atlantic City insiders to bulldoze the home of an elderly widow for a limousine parking lot at his casino”.
If that doesn’t imply that the bulldozing actually happened, the the Tweet does. And it is a lie! Ted Cruz is just as much of a liar as Mitch McConnell and the other folks getting or trying to get rich from the public treasury.
Semantics.
Kind of like Trump saying he could shoot people in the street and he would not loose any of his supporters. Is he calling his supporters stupid or just making a joke. HAHAHA
Unbelievable. When is Cruz going to apologize for walking all the way down to the other end of the COED dorm in college only to stand there in a paisley bathrobe while women were going to take their morning shower, put make up on, etc. Let me tell you had I had a girlfriend in that dorm and heard Cruz pulled that crap he would have been knocked on his ass which he deserved. Tell me about all the ladies who want you to see them when they first get out of bed in the AM and have not fixed their hair, makeup etc. Cruz is in love with Cruz.
Hey, he’s the one who’s keeping it bumped. It must really be getting under his skin. But hey, if he wants to explain how exactly he fell short in his efforts to deny a woman her property rights, that’s his prerogative.
In fact, Cruz is doing him a favor - if he doesn’t make it an issue, you know the Democrats are going to bring it up...
Come on. This was a complex situation going on for decades.
The lady didn’t take the $1 million offer in the 70’s. Trump offered her $2 million, according to him and backed up by the prices paid to her neighbors. She refused. The city got upset with her because they had committed to the casino plans to revitalize the city center and condemned it giving her 250K compensation. She went to court and the court sided with her. She got to make her choice. Newark did the same sort of things to build NJPAC.
What evidence is there that Trump strong armed the woman or “colluded” to get her house condemned? Just because someone wants to paint him as a bad person you can’t make it up as you go along.
“Cruz’s ad never said Trump was successful in knocking down the widow’s home, and Trump’s claim that he simply gave up on going after the widow when she didn’t want to sell her house is misleading. The widow went to court and won.”

You know? I really don’t give a crap any more.
Cruz has shown through his actions and his votes and the things that he’s significantly failed to say—in fact, things that he’s specifically avoided saying—that he’s on the same level of trustworthiness as Trump is.
And on top of that, he probably can’t win in the general.
So our choices are two might-be-good-might-be-bad candidates, one of which will probably win and one of which probably won’t. What’s the correct choice for keeping Hillary far away from the White House?
Internally consistent? The only thing consistent about Trump is his willingness to say anything to get ahead. There are any of number of articles pointing out the ideological switches he's made over the years. He has stayed the course in only in one respect - he has always looked out for Donald Trump's interests.
The difference is context. Trump made a joke, Cruz is making a charge and an attack. When you do that you better have the facts on your side or else you open yourself up to counter-attack.
The best attacks against Trump are to reinforce his liberal past as he’s on record saying those things. I believe he’s changed, but many wont, so keep hitting him there. This avenue is a dead end.
Norm, I was the editor of my High School Literary Magazine. The building was not bulldozed. If they had said, “attempted but failed to bulldoze”, or something such as that, then it would be a truthful statement. As it stands, it implies that the building was bulldozed by Donald Trump. That is not true.
These are the same tactics that Dewhurst used against Ted in the Senate Runoff election: “In the hotly contested U.S. Senate race, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst has suggested that his rival, former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz, puts the interests of China above those of the United States.” Read more about the deceptions on both sides at:

The property was sold at auction for $530,000 and purchased by Carl Icahn.
Trump did’t purchase it nor did he bid on it.
Good for you. I was the Senior Ed of a website that was No.2 only to NASCAR in it’s category with a 7 figure readership, followed up by many years as a reporter and editor at a Tri-state regional newspaper/newsgroup.
You wanna compare junk some more?
