TWO ENTERTAINERS SING PRAISES OF TRUMP (Pat Boone and Robert Davi)

Two big time entertainment figures - one from the West Coast and the other from New York - say they like Donald Trump for president.

Pat Boone, the legendary white buck singer-actor who sold more pop hits in the 1950s and 1960s than anyone but Elvis Presley, told Fox News he favors Trump and thinks the endorsement of Sarah Palin is "an electric development" in the campaign. Boone says he likes Trump because of his vast business experience and proven executive experience.

"I think most of us these days don't want a professional politician," said Boone. He reminded the audience that the founders never intended that America's leaders would be career politicians. Boone campaigned for Ted Cruz in his Senate candidacy and says he's "wonderful," but he prefers Trump. Watch Pat Boone make his case for Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, another actor-singer, Robert Davi, also took to the airwaves to praise Trump, calling him "the last hope for America."

"He's the only candidate who can stand up against the establishment," said Davi. Davi, a New Yorker through and through, reminded Cruz that Teddy Roosevelt was from New York. Cruz had recently criticized "the New York culture."

"I don't want nuance," said Davi. "I want bold colors - red, white and blue."

I am sorry but I really don’t care who any entertainers endorse for political office, even entertainers that I like.

They are certainly all entitled to their opinions like everyone else, even though most of them are far left wing liberals who believe that they are experts on everything.

The name "Robert Davi" didn't ring a bell with me, but the photo did. We've seen him in countless movies without knowing his name, many times cast as a villain....and you'll want to take a look!

He's an actor, a classicaly-trained singer and a writer. He's a devout Catholic, long-time conservative.....and has been and is still very active in the conservative movement.

Boone, a pop, country and gospel singer and actor is well-known for his long-time conservative activism.

Pat Boone and Robert Davi are highly-respected Americans...and their endorsement is certainly to be welcomed and helpful to Mr. Trump.

These two men are CONSERVATIVES endorsing Trump...two men who would be labeled as "not true, purist conservatives" by Cruzers on this forum just because they are for Trump.

I didn’t get to see Pat Boone but I shook hands with President Nixon in Phoenix one time. We were crowded into an airplane hanger with men with rifles up above. Very exotic at the time.

What I find really almost laughable is the promoting of people normally ridiculed or laughed at on FR, now that they come out and endorse Trump. Also funny that when entertainers come out and endorse a liberal it is treated completely different.
