Donald Trumpâs official voting record has been released, showing that he was a registered Republican since at least 1980, throwing water on the theory that he was at one time a Democrat.
This is causing major panic in the Cruz campaign that insisted that Trump recently switched his affiliation.
Voting records for Trumpâs adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, were not immediately available.
Trump is leading by wide margins in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida, and nearly every other state where pollsters take the Republican electorateâs temperature.
In Iowa, he is running neck-and-neck with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in some polls, and leading him comfortably in others.
On Thursday in Las Vegas, Trump boasted of a new Emerson College poll that shows him leading Cruz there by 10 points.
âCruz is going down,â he told a packed ballroom at the South Point casino. âHeâs like a nervous wreck. Heâs going down. Heâs had his moment.â

And I'm not saying I agree with everything he's doing. I do agree with what they're doing with the banks. Whether they FUND THEM or NATIONALIZE them, it doesn't matter, but you have to keep the banks going."
wow. you’re SO COOL with your tricky little trap there :)
what state are you from that you believe a person said he didn’t mean the 100 things he’s said over the past 10 years and that’s good enough for you?
certainly not from nyc, where i’m from.
relax ace, i’m voting for him. ted lost me with the NY values comment and some of his votes.
unlike most, though, i’ve been reading about him since i was 15, and i can promise one thing, we will only know what he is about after he gets in office, unlike, say, a Reagan.
here’s to hoping he’s hardcore
1) Immigration
2) National Security
3) Jobs
and he did question if Reagan was an empty suit.
so unless you were in the booth watching him vote, his words have meaning.
chalk most of them up to business smarts and staying on the good side of dems? sure.
i hope so.
good enough for now!!
although i would have liked an across the board conservative we’re in a lot of trouble right now.
just accept it or you will be reeducatd when he gets elected.
i’ll vote for the guy, but WOW, i guess it’s the cynical NYer in me that doesn’t buy the wholesale change in beliefs.
not that ted hasn’t voted oddly and missed some important votes the past year.
According to the Daily Mail link:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3410858/As-Trump-woos-primary-voters-New-York-records-indicate-NEVER-voted-Republican-presidential-primary.html#ixzz3y2CHWoJt
The “R” under “voter type” stands for “Registered,” not for Republican.
The “R” under “Ballot Type” stands for “Regular,” not for Republican.
And, according to a New York City elections division clerk, there is no record that Trump ever voted in a Republican primary election in New York City.
Trump only voted in general elections, and there is no record for whom he voted in those general elections.
The TDS is always strong with.

The single biggest thing going for Trump, in my honest opinion is, he is not controlled by any mega-rich donors. Which frees him to do the right thing for the whole country instead of for the benefit of just the rich donor class.
Nobody can guarantee the future, but from what I have observed, Trump at nearing age 70, will pursue legacy in the form of nationalistic patriotism than chase after more money. God knows he does not need more money and he is smart enough to realize that.
Best of all, he does not fear the media, does not cow tow to GOP elites, and shut Hillary up in one day over the phony war on women issue. Who else has done these things?
Cruz’s voting ACU score:

Doesn’t look like all talk to me.
From: http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-01-22/trump-or-cruz-no-sweat-wall-street-s-big-republican-donors-say
Here is an interesting bit: “Cruz doesn’t frighten one former Goldman Sachs executive who watched the senator help his wife, Heidi, woo clients to a unit that caters to people and families with average investments at the firm of more than $40 million. The senator knows bankers, went to the same Ivy League schools, understands their needs and has taken their money, he said.”
Are we sure that Ted Cruz isn’t in this for the money?

After being so mislead by GWB and Obama (what they promised vs what they did), I now realize we can never be sure about what we're getting with a pol.
I became a supporter of Trump because I trust his motivations. He's a real made-in-the-USA original with a lot of pride in his accomplishments. He obviously loves his children. He has made his campaign fun for so many, with huge free rallies, helicopter rides, free movies, turning TV political news into an adventure more entertaining that most TV dramas. He'd rather sell you merchandise than have you make a small donation, and he doesn't want a large donation at all. Trump is PT Barnum + Reagan with a little bit carnival barker thrown in. He knows when to care...with vets who are hurting, with families who've lost love ones, etc.
What's my point? Trump really, really wants to bring back all that's been lost of what's made the US such a great country, the one where a person could have a great life and tremendous success. He wants it for his kids, he wants it for all citizens, and he wants it because his ego wants to have him be the best President ever, the one that saves the US.
Every AM, I wake up, and all the crazy stuff I've read and heard the day before has become somewhat coherent thoughts. And this is where I'm at when people are nervous about Trump's motives. The man does what he sets out to do. And he's set out to Make America Great Again.
wow. just a little effort to debunk an article.
thanks for letting me know.
maybe i’m the only one who still doesn’t know who to vote for.
that NY comment hurt. I love the city.
this is NOT out there, nor does he push it as an asset in his campaign.
he needs to.
and get Sessions out there too.
i thought Sessions was so respected on this board, except when it comes to his pick for pres?
strange
Good catch. Not many seem interested...
