Dear Mr. Levin,
My name is Lauren Stephens. Iâve been involved in politics for a long time â mostly just as a pissed off American, but I am also the owner of Conservative Campaign Consulting. I do not work for any of the Presidential Campaigns. I am not coordinated with any of them. I have not spoken to any of them. I am not being paid by anyone for this.
First off, I would like to let you know that I have been a huge fan and follower of yours since probably about 2007 or 2008. I have several, but not all, of your books. They are really good stuff. I have even downloaded the majority of your podcasts.
Mr. Levin, for years, I have had nothing but the utmost respect for you. Your word has always been your bond. If you doubt my sincerity, you can ask a former co-worker of yours from the Reagan Administration, Dixie Cassell. You could ask a real patriot, C Steven Tucker, from the Chicago area. You could ask a lot of people. They know me.
For years, you have been a champion of We The People, and maybe today, you still believe that you are. But at this point, I beg to differ. Not because I want to, but because I believe I have a little bit more inside information than you have on certain issues surrounding the Presidential race. And the GOP.
I hope you will keep in mind, my respect and admiration for you, before you respond â IF you respond. Although I am angry, I come to you without malice. I am here simply because I know of no other way to get this message to you.

The point is that if Cruzâs is a real conservative, as he likes to say, he will stand against ALL subsidies-even oil.
I challenge all Cruz supporters to read this. It is quite eye opening.

They won’t. They’re busy spamming about Trump’s donation history.
Were you around when the Bushbots were banning everyone who dared criticize W? Now, they HATE all the Bushes and have a new cult icon.
You shouldn't, but people that are not totally committed to a loser might find it interesting.
Of course all those thing would still be there but republicans wouldn't.
All of the Trump staff and Trump have it. Dan Scavino, Cory Lewandowski, all of them. It’s gone viral on Twitter.
But it’s happened before. Remember how bad things were under Carter? Within three years, the US was thriving again. That boost carried us into the 90’s.
I assure you Trump supporters have which is why they are angry. I was especially disappointed by Bren Bozell's participation in this rant because I greatly admired him and his late father.
ps. I don't really expect you to read the letter.
Everyone has it now.
We pay $37.5 BILLION A YEAR in oil subsidies.

Google is your friend.
Yeah, like all these bandwagon lemmings who are unwilling to acknowledge or discuss Trump’s support of wildly socialist views on things like national healthcare and obama’s “stimulus” are in position to tell off Mark Levin about constitutional conservatism. This is mass hysteria on parade.
Yes there are, they are just not called subsidies.
Yes there are, they are just not called subsidies.
Yes there are, they are just not called subsidies.
Churches have subsidies too. Especially the ones that have large businesses.
oh there’s been primaries already? wow.
This is NOT 1980.
We’re not even the same nation anymore. We certainly are not the same people that made up the country back then.
Half our population is on welfare and the same amount or more see nothing wrong with Communism.
America could have survived a tyrannical Marxist like Barrack Obama.
It cannot survive the millions of fools who made him their king.
Much like the leftist media promotes and protects their public office holders, I'm not comfortable with self proclaimed “Conservative” media campaigning for someone they support.
As originated here on FR yesterday and is now a talking point, just where was the NR’s outrage when Romney was running as a “Conservative?
Yeah, and most of them, like this one, sound so true!
Just in case Lauren Stephens hasn’t done research on Donald Trump, here’s a little to get her started:
Just last summer Trump said before defunding Planned Parenthood, we should look at their ‘good aspects.’
Bret Baier asked why he supported single-payer in 2000. Hereâs his answer.
As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland.

“We are not talking about positions he has taken years ago before he became a Republican. In 2013, conservatives were fighting for dear life to oppose open borders, while Trump was not only supporting the Dream Act, but echoing the liberal politically correct talking points behind it. In August of 2013, he reportedly told a group of illegal aliens, âYou have convinced meâ of the need to pass the Dream Act.”

“Trump has long praised Mitch McConnell, the man who is the embodiment of why people are fed up with the party and attracted to Trump in the first place. While conservatives were fighting to get rid of McConnell in the 2014 primaries, Trump said, “It would be a shame if he didn’t win, because he has such power, it’s so good for his state.”
It comes as no surprise, then, that late last year Trump criticized Cruz for acting like a âmaniacâ when he called McConnell a liar. How does Trump plan to fight political correctness and the culture of the D.C. establishment when he has championed the mastermind of the GOP establishment and is offended by the non-politically correct criticism of its leader?

TRUP: (Michael Bloomberg is) “a friend of mine. He’s been an excellent mayor of New York City. He’s a great guy and he means very well.” (2013)
....
“I think pretty strongly that (Bill de Blasio will) end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor and I don’t think he’s going to want to kill the golden goose. ...I think he’s a smart guy that knows what’s going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York. I think he is going to want to make New York great.ââ¬Â (2013)
Don’t give up on Rush. How he treated the 11 year old Trump fan was nice. There is a thread on that
I’m sorry, but she is a big-government, pro-ethanol ignoramus.
Yes, I agree that the GOPe is evil. No less.
And Cruz is slick and calculating.
Trump has been more or less on the GOP most of the way.
Levin deserves a serious dressing down for his Cruz-ading against Trump without exposing that his son-in-law-to-be is full-time on Cruz’s payroll.
But her entire ethanol argument—oh, we can’t stop any subsidies and government mandates or all the workers in the industry will become wards of the state in another form—is outrageous and fundamentally unconservative.
