Germany and the UK had better enjoy their moment in the sun...it'll be over soon.

Islam will see to that.

Germany is about to tank on that list with the Muzzie invasion cause they do nothing to prop up a nation.

Obama did his best to push us down the list and is doing his damnedest to push us down further till he leaves office and even after he leaves (if he leaves).

Germany is #1?

Merkel is trying to do an Obama and ruin that. ‘Come on in! We got plenty of room. And bring your Sharia and prayer rugs with you.’

Are the “factors” considered for the rankings the ones that are important to you? I did not notice any other listed country that I would live in, regardless of ranking. Canada would be OK if one got rid of the government, liberals and queers.

Saw this earlier today on local news. Based on the questions, the US is 4th because we’re not liberal enough.

Is it ironic the Germany is #1?...................... Oh crap! Does this mean we’re going to have another World War to get to #1?

Of course Germany is a great place to live! Pretty much all the buildings were built in 1946 or later! Everything is new!

I guess cost of living, gun rights and private property rights were not considered ranking.

Surveys like this drive magazine sales, but are meaningless. What are the trends? How are the criteria defined? How are criteria weighted? Is the rating from the point of view of citizens or non-citizens?

What about geographical areas? For example, there are placed in the US that are worse than most countries. Are those areas excluded or averaged in?

And the range of scores for the top 10 are only 3 points from 91 to 94. What is the margin of error?

More meaningful would be a report putting nations into groups, and giving the strengths, weaknesses, and trends of each. But that wouldn't drive magazine sales.

My English born and raised wife now says Britain is a nice place to visit, but she wouldn't want to live there. Just not enough room for her.

Actually, after several visits to Britain, it is a very nice place to visit. But I was too cramped. Give me the wide open spaces of America please.
