Based on the questions, the US is 4th because we're not liberal enoughThere are (unfortunately) large numbers of Americans who base quality of life on what gov. does for them. They just don't get America. The ideal country is one where gov. has as little influence on your life as possible.
We've got too much gov. meddling here, but it's nothing like European "paradises."
