A Tale of Two Shiftys'
There is a bigger controversy about to break wide-open that's potentially far more significant than Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell approving Nikki Haley's non-subtle attack on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. That bigger controversy is the Spanish version of the GOP State of the Union rebuttal containing an "amnesty pledge".
As this is written, Governor Nikki Haley is trying to get out ahead of the building expose'. Haley just gave a DC press conference claiming she does not support "amnesty"; however, against her earlier admission of Speaker Ryan and Leader McConnell approving the script - the Spanish version must have held similar approvals.
Governor Haley gave the English version, Miami Representative and party-insider Mario Diaz-Barlat delivered it in Spanish. Here's a (paragraph by paragraph) comparison as translated by the Miami Herald:
English (Via Haley): No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country.
Spanish (Via Diaz-Barlat): No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love the United States should ever feel unwelcome in this country. It's not who we are.
English: At the same time, that does not mean we just flat out open our borders. We can't do that. We cannot continue to allow immigrants to come here illegally. And in this age of terrorism, we must not let in refugees whose intentions cannot be determined.
Spanish: At the same time, it's obvious that our immigration system needs to be reformed. The current system puts our national security at risk and is an obstacle for our economy.
English: We must fix our broken immigration system. That means stopping illegal immigration. And it means welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion. Just like we have for centuries.
Spanish: It's essential that we find a legislative solution to protect our nation, defend our borders, offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows, respect the rule of law, modernize the visa system and push the economy forward.
English: I have no doubt that if we act with proper focus, we can protect our borders, our sovereignty and our citizens, all while remaining true to America's noblest legacies.
Spanish: I have no doubt that if we work together, we can achieve this and continue to be faithful to the noblest legacies of the United States.
And what makes you think you can trust Trump? He told the Illegal Immigration lobby, “You’re going to love my plan.” He supports a touchback amnesty.

Again- how In the hell are illegal immigrants respecting the rule of law? They are NOT! They dont’ respect our laws and they don’t respect our nation and our values- nearly 70% go on government welfare- some to the tune of nearly $45,000 per year and don’t work a day In their lives- They steal social security numbers, and people’s identities and our prisons are over run with illegal immigrants- some prisons are comprised of nearly 65% illegal immigrants
“Oh but they are just hard working people looking for a better future” BS! anyone claiming this doesn’t know the real stats on them- they are draining this county of an estimated $400 BILLION to $600 BILLION dollars per year due to crime, stolen money, drunk driving, incarcerations, drug use and the cost to it’s victims, drunken driving and the cost to it’s victims
Folks- that is a hell of a lot of money these illegals are costing this country EVERY single year

It’s in the emanating penumbra. Since there wasn’t an explicit call for immediate deportation, there has to be an amnesty pledge in there somewhere.
It is important to remember the backdrop to this current dual narrative (one the GOPe leadership want to say publicly and one they wish to keep hidden).

My question too. There have been a few examples lately where the title of a post and content did not match up. And unless I’m mistaken (admittedly very possible) Donald Trump’s stated position is that those here illegally would be deported, screened for criminal background, and then readmitted legally. All after the border is made less of a joke, of course, with a genuine barrier (wall or something equally secure). Not much different to me from Haley’s address, in either English or Spanish.
The treasonists are just absolutely hellbent on selling out the country aren’t they.

When you vote in facebook polls for Trump,you get put on mailing lists of the NRSC (Cruz used to run this corrupt outfit and they contribute big to him) and the NRCC (Greg Walden). They are selling bogus Trump gear to Trump supporters, keeping all the $$ to finance their candidates...like Rubio and Cruz. They’ve done this for months and has cost the Trump campaign likely millions.

And the GOPe wonders why their base loathes them. The elites will never put the interests of regular Americans first. It is well past time that the establishment is kicked to the curb and replaced.
I personally believe that both the Presidents state of the union address and the republican response was written by a collaboration between the two political parties by an elite group with in both...they are scared because they know that Hillary wont win in a election and Jeb bush will not make it out of the primaries making the most likely president either Trump or Cruise. both of whom are ones that will not allow politics as usual.
