During his campaign, Donald Trump has ridiculed a lot of people but no one more than Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who called him out on his track record of sexist comments in the first Republican debate.
Now Kelly is speaking out to say that the real estate mogul tried to win her over with some creepy correspondence before announcing his candidacy.
In a cover interview with Vanity Fair magazine, the 45-year-old journalist says The Donald used to send her press clippings about her from time to time, signed with his name, and call to talk about segments he liked on her show.
Kelly says she didn't know why Trump had taken an interest in her until he announced he was running for president last year, and then 'it became more clear'.
However, she says that Trump's attempts to get on her good side were pointless.
'I can't be wooed,' she said. 'I was never going to love him, and I was never going to hate him.'
The married mother-of-three spoke in detail about her infamous exchange with Trump during the first Republican debates, in which she confronted the candidate about his history of making demeaning comments about women.
In the interview, Kelly revealed that she actually came close to having to sit out the debates, since she became violently ill the morning of the live television event.
But knowing that her tough questions likely wouldn't get asked if she had to call in sick, Kelly says she powered through the debate despite her illness - hiding a blanket and a bucket to throw up in under the moderators' desk.

Same with me - I liked her before, but have not liked her since.
The question just dripped with leftist collectivism (women are a group, not individuals) and political correctness.
It was clear that Megyn was invested in the whole leftist gender narrative (not sure about race and class), and was trying to enforce the politically correct self-censorship to put criticism of any woman off limits - even a fat pig like Rosie O’Donnell.
Let’s get back to facing reality, calling things for what they are, and stop coddling people.

Oh, God, here we go. No one is defending Trump, no one is even discussing Trump here other than in the classy way of a gentleman sending news clippings about a reporter whom he might admire. This is called being polite.
I’m in my sixties, and it is customary for people to send you a clipping of an article you may have wrote in a local newspaper or magazine or regarding an award you might have won that was posted. That’s class. Calling someone creepy for doing that is creepy as it denotes that she is putting Trump or whomever she is referring to, on a par with Cosby and Clinton and other perverts.
I have no respect for her and stopped watching her after debate one. I’m sure she lost a big audience.

Today, our dictatorship shakes their head and simply destroys you if you become a threat. They attack your livelihood, your business, your reputation.

She is mediocre at best. She really is. There are others on Fox that are much much better. Way better.
I would suggest that people not smear her with innuendos that she had an affair with Brit Hume or George Will or Geraldo or T. Boone Pickens or Cat Stevens unless it’s proven.

Exactly. I bet you’ve had one or two and I did too. Win an academic award in high school, or make the big play, anything that got your photo in the paper, and you might get one. I never thought someone was hitting on me.
She’s a petty little person. Guess it sucks getting old. She knows some smart and hot 30 year old is right on her heels.
I have a feeling - just like these secret college clubs - the powers that be want perverts to be elected into office because they can hold something over their heads. Trump being in the public light all his life aired his dirty laundry and sometimes flaunts it with his hot wives - that plus his wealth and his disciplined self against vices (no drugs or drinking but an understandable weakness for eastern European babes) and his wealth make him immune to blackmail.
It is kind of ironic— that she could have saved her career by just calling in sick when she really was sick...

You’re full of it. That was an attack full on by her. Tried to make him a woman hater when all his exes, daughters, and female employees praise him.
Demanded to know if he would run as an independent when he was the clear frontrunner.

If she in fact had an affair with Brit Hume she has made a grave error. Donald will burn her at the stake by brining this up.
My guess is they want to start pumping for ratings at the next Faux debate later this month.

After the debate Kelly’s first visitor on set was Debbie Wasserman Shultz head of the DNC, who BTW was not a guest at the debates.
