In a long campaign that's far from over, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's comment in Grand Rapids, Mich., that Hillary Clinton - former first lady, former U.S. senator, former secretary of state, woman = "got schlonged" in her 2008 primary run might be considered just another insult from a tycoon-turned-politician eager for the spotlight. Trump, after all, has been down in the dirt slinging mud before, calling Rosie O'Donnell a "fat pig" and a "slob" and making comments that certainly seemed critical of Megyn Kelly's menstrual cycle.
But there was something different about "schlonged." Sure, it was sexist - especially given Trump's general disapproval of Clinton's bathroom use during the recent Democratic presidential debate.

I’m a Baby Boomer, and I think still young at heart, LIKE TRUMP. There are words used out there, by women no less, that would never be used in public when I were growing up. For example, I hear women in the office freely saying, “He needs to grow some balls,” He needs to grow, “a pair.” Or, “bite me,” etc.
Schlong, was definitely a word, a noun, from my generation used among us boys in high school, and Trump throws in a bunch of words like that all the time from that time. Never heard it used as a verb, but to be sure from now on it will be and not in a sexual sense.
For example:
“Last night Hillary Schlonged Bernie in the debates.”
“The republican debate lasted two hours amid grueling questioning by Megyn Kelly. In the end, Trump, out schlonged her.”
“Johnny Manziel, in desperation, schlonged a long pass to his wide end for the winning touchdown in the closing seconds of the game.”
“Tiger Wood’s opening drive schlonged right into the deep rough.”
“The fire fighters schlonged their gear over their shoulders as they entered the burning forest.”
“The German pole vaulter was out schlonged 8 inches by his opponent on the last effort.”
“Hey, Harry, that was a great speech. You really, schlonged the audience.”
“Yeah, the place was packed. We had to schlong our way through the crowd to get to the exit.”
“It was really something. Two cars schlonged head on the curve. Fortunately no one was hurt.”
Fred:”Hey, Joe what happened?”
Joe:When I tried to loosen that bolt, the ratchet slipped and sclonged me in the head.”
etc.
From my Jewish friends, I’ve heard “goyim” to simply mean stranger. It can be derogatory, or neutral.
The worst I heard (in college), was of a Jewish dad telling his son “trafe are for practice.” (Trafe translates into trash or garbage, i.e. slutty goyim) I may not have the spelling of trafe correct.
If Hillary “got schlonged”, it was most likely Anthony Wiener’s wife who is the culprit...
Me too.
Creepy Uncle Joe - when not molesting women, girls and boys - uses the f-word on a regular basis.
Yet this panty-waist gets the vapors when Trump (correctly) uses the word ‘schlong’?
He’s right. Clinton got dicked over in 2008. I appreciate his softening up the term ‘dick’ and using schlonged instead.
I also especially appreciate that Trump - once again - pisses off the idiot liberals.
Her husband used in an ISIS recruiting video...meh.
But, use ‘niggardly’ correctly, or ‘bleeding...from somewhere’ and the media goes apesh!t
Yep, nailed it. It only matters WHOM utters.
Good one, silverleaf! "Lewinskied" certainly sounds Yiddish.
Do non-native speakers of Yiddish know the real meaning of half the Yiddish words they say? At some point, the sound of the word carries more meaning than the original definition.
Oy yoi yoi...
In some way saying Obummer “schlonged” her was complimentary (to Obummer).
I suppose he could have said he “schlediumed” her, or even worse “schlorted” her.
lol...this article is hilarious. I can’t believe the press is making such a whoop de doo over Trump basically saying Clinton got screwed out of the nomination.
You should go and ask your Daddy.
Then don’t use the word until you’re in high school, at least. ;-)
Has nothing to do with the battleship.
“the italian called his opponent a putz”
A putz is just a tiny schlong, isn’t it?
Such hypocrites. Anyone who has spent time around their newsroom knows the F word is thrown around there 20 times a minute. And the word schlong is offensive? LOL
But it is the truth, Schumer is a Putzhead.
