In a twist on the typically shadowy world of super PACS, a new anti-Donald Trump group is openly seeking donations for an ad that would flog the New York businessman for drawing and accepting praise from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Make America Awesome is also offering to pay commissions to people who bring in big donors. The size of the commissions is not disclosed in the appeal circulated early Friday by Republican operative Liz Mair, and she did not immediately respond to a request for details.

The U.S. and Russia are bound to one another by MAD; Mutually Assured Destruction. We have no practical choice but to cooperate; and together, attempt to hold the rest of the planet down to a manageable level of mayhem. Trump and Putin being on speaking terms, and with a healthy regard for one another, is the way it should be.

I’ve been pondering this for a few weeks. With Trumps ability to attack his enemies, how he will treat those who, during this pre-election period have taken sides against him. If indeed he does become POTUS, will he use their words against them? Its going to be interesting.

Once again, the tools in the GOPe are so tone deaf and so completely out of touch that they fail to see why this attack, too, will fail. A significant number of Americans desperately wish we had a president who’s an unabashed nationalist and puts his country first - someone like Putin. This “former KGB” B.S. is nonsense. Hell, we had a president who was a former Director of the CIA, didn’t we?
