On December 3 Politico reported that while Obama is pushing for more gun laws when the cameras are rolling, behind the scenes aides say he has "essentially given up on any significant gun control."
They reported a similar situation among some of the most prominent gun control groups - a situation in which they are pushing gun control publicly while "leaders of the groups grumble" privately because the White House seems to be all talk, no action on gun control.
According to Politico, "Aides say he's essentially given up on any significant gun control passing during his presidency."
The aides stressed that the number of pro-gun members in Congress has only grown since the first big push for gun control following Sandy Hook. Because of this, the White House has "no strategy for dealing with Congress that leads to significantly tighter gun laws."

The ELITE screwed the pooch on their agenda. If they had reigned it in a bit they might have succeeded.
But when they went so over the top with their rhetoric, with jihadists killing people all over the world - and US libs apologizing for them...

Don’t pop the corks on the champagne. When the Marxist messiah says that he has no hope that something will be passed, that is code for “I will bypass Congress and take unilateral action.”
Both the NRA and GoA are ready and have indicated they will push back.
He knows better than anyone else that there’s no reason to take him seriously when his home sh!t-hole of Chicago — with the toughest gun control laws in the country — resembles Baghdad and Mogadishu even on its best days.
He is doing this out of fear that some of the potential sappers he’s letting into this country might be on the NFL or under watch and thus kept from buying any weapons here.
He’s looking for maximum kill here and screw gun control if he can get that.

They need to push back by talking about the historical effects of gun control and then tie Progressivism to those communist/socialist/fascist states that used gun control to victimize their people.
Facts about American guns will not win this argument because it is nothing but emotions on the other side. We need to show the hysterical useless idiots what their life will be like when the relatively harmless Right is disarmed.
No choice, people don’t give a damn about what the rodeo clown has to say at this point. He’s spent the better part of 7 years complaining about Americans and tearing down our culture. If he can’t bring himself to do his job people will simply manage without him.
