The billionaire Republican frontrunner for president, Donald Trump, attempted to woo Jewish voters Thursday by saying he planned soon to meet Israel's prime minister in the holy land.
"I'm leaving for Israel in a very short period of time," he told the Jewish Republican Coalition in Washington DC during a campaign stop in which he sought to burnish his Jewish ties.
His daughter Ivanka converted to Judaism upon her marriage, as a result is no longer reachable on Shabbat, the Jewish sabbath which is observed from Friday night to Saturday, he said.

Would not be surprised if Bibi endorsed Trump.
I believe the world will be split up into 10 “unions” with 10 “kings” overseeing the unions.
It would be fun to listen to them and even better, seeing Netanyahu smile because he has an ally again.
I can just imagine what he will say to Bibi. “Once the radical Muslim is out of office....”

I like the idea of Trump and Netanyahu restoring the strong relationship our two nations once enjoyed; but I was somewhat put off by a thread here on FR on Wednesday quoting Trump as saying that as POTUS, he would make every effort possible to strongarm Netanyahu into accepting some peace deal with the Palestinians.
The only reason there has been no agreement long since with the PLO is because the PLO doesn’t want one. What they want is Israel gone from the planet and themselves ensconced in the Holy Land.
Trump’s a smart guy. I can’t believe he’d have cockamamie ideas to pick right up where GWB left off and start twisting Israel’s arm again.
Hopefully, Bebe will sit Trump down and explain the Middle East facts of life to him.

Whoever quoted Trump as saying that was not correct.
Trump made it very clear in his speech that Israel has already given a lot. He has no intention of strong arming anyone.
