Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who campaigned as an unstinting champion of social conservatives but found himself crowded out by other more forceful, dynamic personalities, on Tuesday abruptly ended his bid for the Republican presidential nomination. Jindal, 44, had staked out far-right territory but never gained traction during a primary thatâs been dominated by outsiders with similar or more conservative views, particularly Donald Trump and Ben Carson. Jindal noted that the policy papers his campaign had unveiled in recent months, on issues such as energy and education, hadn't resonated with voters.

Trump/Jindal?
A wonk like Jindal as a VP can be a great asset Trump if that happens.
I have been shocked by how nasty Jindal is. His remarks re Trump, as well as Christie in that last debate were just mean.
When I disagree I generally do it without wry humor. LOL

A man shows you what he is when he is at his lowest point and Jindal was a nasty little rick,,,,but the VP position has not always gone to the best buddy of the president.
The LA Times was not invited to the press conference because there was no presss conference. The announcement of resigining the Jindal campaign was made in person on live TV..... Fox News
