Donald Trump suggested Monday that U.S. counterterrorism officials should shut down certain mosques in response to the horrific terrorist attacks in Paris last week.
“I would hate to do it but it’s something you’re going to have to strongly consider,†the 2016 Republican frontrunner said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe†when asked if he would recommend taking the measure.
“Some of the absolute hatred is coming from those areas,†he said.

While many of the colonial population were patriots of American independence, most reputable historians estimate the number of loyalists (to Church and King) at 1/3 with another 1/3 neutral. At no time during the struggle were the founding fathers in the majority. As for specific numbers of clerical loyalists and what it took to effect the change from "Church of England" to Episcopal, here's a wikepedia excerpt [Link]:

He can’t shut down a mosque unless there is proof they have definite plans to kill people. If he could shut down a mosque because he wants to, he could shut down a Catholic or Baptist or Methodist, etc., church.

You are thinking when some Freepers are not. I just posted if Trump could shut down mosques because he wants to, he could shut down Catholic and Baptist and other churches - and you are correct another Democrat could do the same.

Their goal is world conquest and domination. Always has been. Immigrate, infiltrate, invade, hostile takeover. They;ve done it in the middle east, Africa, Asia, Europe and they’re now infiltrating into America. The Mosques are armories, military headquarters, command and communications centers.
