Snopes is venomously left wing and insulted the new testament on more than one occasion.

Evidently Snopes believe black people have a civil right to walk down the middle of the street instead of on the sidewalk.
In toto, the critics were right.
I watched the video. The stop was justified, and the police were professional. They explained why she was stopped, they smiled and they even let her take a picture.
Just like Michael Brown, who would now be a distinguished scholar if hadn’t been shot dead for being black.
It's not just black folks doing that. Strolling down the middle of residential streets has become a suburban fad.
Years ago, you'd only see folks walking in the road where there were no sidewalks. Now, it's become commonplace for faddish idiots to do the same thing in residential neighborhoods that have perfectly good sidewalks on every street.
The UNT professor was just doing what I've seen thousands of sheeples doing, over the years. It's a brainless, stupid thing to do, but morons just have to prove they're cool by taking their daily walk in the path of moving motor vehicles.
They were trustworthy back in the early days of chain e-letters, but have drifted further and further left, to the point that there is no longer any point in consulting them.
Snopes ought to look at the GDmnd video— it says it ALL.
The woman is a professional race troller— experienced and trained to university level. Total utter BS. She’s walking in the freakin’ road— perfectly good sidewalks both sides.

Snope’s has been dubious for years
IF Bland had her hoodie up on her head while walking or jogging, then she should be glad the police stopped her to warn her about the dangers of walking blind.
I miss about a dozen idiots a week, sometimes a day, who are wearing hoodies at night while crossing the street, walk while texting/tweeting/phoning/emailing/placing bets, and most of these are white, professional people who work for the government.
The corner of 7th and D Street NW is a major hazard because these idiots never look up when they cross the street, either during the day or esp. at night. Also they wear dark clothes so you often can’t see them stepping off the curb when you are turning a corner.
We’re gonna need more Darwin Awards, folks.
