Exclusive: Ted Cruz's Warning To Donald Trump: "Policy Differences" Coming Soon
CBN ^ | October 22, 2015 | David Brody

Posted on 10/22/2015 6:49:14 PM PDT by Isara

In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Ted Cruz says he has a plan to begin highlighting, “policy differences” between him and Donald Trump. “There are plenty of policy differences and there may well come a time when we start highlighting those more,” Cruz tells The Brody File. “In a political campaign there are seasons and phases to it…as the race narrows down, as people start making choices, we may see some more policy contrasts.”

Cruz has been climbing in the polls and has the money to make a serious run at the nomination. He’s been courting evangelical voters since his announcement speech at Liberty University. The truth is this: Cruz needs Trump to fade to have a realistic shot. The Brody File contends that Trump’s biggest threat is not Jeb or Rubio. It’s Cruz. He’s going after many of the same voters as Trump and he has the credentials, intellect, debating skills and passion to really make a dent in Trump’s voter pool.

One other quote from Cruz during our interview:

“I think the sharpest difference between my record and that of every other candidate is that people are tired of campaign conservatives. They’re tired of people who talk a great game while they’re on the campaign trail but they actually haven’t walked the walk and I think people are looking for a consistent conservative.”

Tell it to the GOP nominee Herman Cain.

You’re right though, in polls Hillary wins over Cruz by less than she wins over Trump.

If you want to actually win - in polls - vs. Hillary, you should be backing Bush or Carson.

You people are kinda nuts, scuse me for saying. Somebody said Cruz has only 3 friends in the Senate. That’s probably an exaggeration but Cruz has spoken out against the poor estabishment leadership in the Senate.

That doesn’t make friends but it’s honest. He told the truth about McConnell whereas most Senators just hover around trying to stay in office and get along.

Trump supporters are terrified and paranoid. I like Trump a lot. I just like Cruz better.

As far as Facebook goes, I don’t know what goes on on your page, but mine is all Cruz and not because of me because most of the posters are not even my friends.

Very good post, from a Cruz supporter. In my honest opinion, Cruz is a very fine conservative, but he has 2 problems. He must take orders from his rich donors to push for the cheap labor express (H1-B visa, foreign trade pacts) and the second problem is he is just not resonating with voters. Even voters who call themselves conservative are going for Trump & Carson.

All Trump has to do is enforce existing immigration law. That’s it, easily doable and he is the only GOP candidate that says he will enforce existing immigration law.

“...”Mr.Trump because I’m polling so low and you are polling so high ..”

Herman Cain was the frontrunner at this point in time, and Cruz is NOT low, and raised twice as much $$ as Rubio for the 3rd quarter.

We can argue till we are blue in face, because none of the primaries have taken place. Why don’t we wait until March 1st super Tuesday when a dozen primaries take place.

Because by then we do not need to argue who is really resonating and winning with voters.

It required 101 previous posts before you stepped in with words of sanity. I was wondering when the cavalry would arrive and here you are.

Herman Cain was never ahead by double digits in every state. And he did not stay on top for 5 months. And he did not have his own money. When his rich supporters left, Herman faded out. And he was not good at using social media. And Herman had bimbo eruption problems.

Do you really think the US Supreme Court would rule that the US Supreme Court is subservient to the World Court on matter pertaining to US law? Get real that win was a no brainer.
