Trump: German Chancellor Merkel is 'insane'

Has German Chancellor Angela Merkel lost her mind?

Based on her decision to accept upwards of 1 million refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and other jihadist hotbeds, Donald Trump says the German leader is definitely ‘insane.”

“They’re going to have riots in Germany,” the GOP presidential hopeful said in an interview Sunday on CBS’s Face the Nation.  “I always thought Merkel was, like, this great leader. What she’s done in Germany is insane. It’s insane… letting in that many people.”

“I’ve been watching this migration. And I see the people. I mean, they’re men, they’re mostly men, and they’re strong men,” Trump said. “What I won’t do is take in 200,000 Syrians who could be ISIS.”

According to United Nations data 75 percent of the migrants flooding Europe this summer have been men between the ages of 18 and 45 and only 51 percent of them are from Syria. The others are coming from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Albania and Africa — all Muslim-dominated areas.

Not that I am disagreeing with his assessment, but if he is aspiring to the presidency, is it really a good idea to be using such undiplomatic language about the leader of an important ally and trading partner like this?

He didn’t say Merkel is insane; he said her decision to allow in the huge number of migrants is insane. Why does the right wing media have to follow the lead of the left wing media in mischaracterizing what people say?

Perhaps many in Germany, including the current Chancellor, retain a feeling of guilt regarding the Third Reich. That’s the only thing I can think of. But it’s not just Germany. It’s most of the rest of Europe which has been accepting millions of Muslims into their countries. European immigration policy is as insane as ours.

"Not that I am disagreeing with his assessment, but if he is aspiring to the presidency, is it really a good idea to be using such undiplomatic language about the leader of an important ally and trading partner like this?" My thoughts exactly. There is clearly a way for Trump to win the nomination. But can he get elected in the general election by acting like a junior-high spoiled snot-nosed rich kid? I doubt it. It's time for him to clean up his act, …..but maybe his act is all he has. If we look at who is most conservative, he's at the back of the pack.

They also will outbreeding the Germans 4:1. I am 65 y.o., and I may see Germany become an Islamic state in my lifetime!

Hey, we are doing the same thing here in United States by decommissioning Coal electric generating stations long before their time. It makes no economic sense. Maybe this is one reason our Economy is facing stagnation.

What is particularly insane is that we have numerous military facilities in Germany and are bound by NATO to help defend them, and now they have let a million military-aged, anti-American, anti-Christian single men into their country. It’s a deathtrap into which ISIS is luring us. Trump is quite right to be outraged. Everyone else should be, as well.

Does anyone wonder why AfD is making inroads in Germany, Like the PVV in Netherlands (Wilders) and UKIP in Britain (Farage)... The AfD Leader, Frauke Petry, is a lawyer married to a Lutheran minister, and has 4 kids... Soccer mom got ticked off... Like a lot of other Germans

I loved this article. Someone telling it like it is ....

“According to United Nations data 75 percent of the migrants flooding Europe this summer have been men between the ages of 18 and 45 ..... “

///

Okay, 75% are males between the ages of 18 & 45. If you add those below 18 and above 45, I would guess 85% - 90% are male.

“Several refugee lobbies, including the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, have been pushing Obama to take more Syrians and more refugees in general. The U.S. Catholic Bishops, for example, on have a statement on their website calling for the U.S. to take 100,000 refugees from around the world and another 100,000 just from Syria for a total of 200,000 per year.”

///

I am thrilled to see someone calling out Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities and groups like them are undermining our national security.

“The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops gets paid hundreds of millions of U.S. tax dollars per year to resettle refugees in American cities and towns. It is one of nine primary contractors who act as essentially an arm of the federal government for the refugee resettlement program.”

///

Excellent! This explains to a great deal why these folks are lobbying for more money. Catholic Charities receives $BILLIONS every year from TAXPAYERS. They’ve got plenty of professional grant writers and they’re creating a lot of full-time jobs for themselves.

I don’t have an issue with Catholics. I do have an issue with them taking my tax dollars and using it to undermine our national security.

The only thing I might mildly disagree with is the title of the article. I didn’t see where Trump said Merkel is insane. He said her actions are insane. Yeah, I know it’s a fine line but it’s not really what Trump said. That said, I have no problem calling her insane.

While I have little doubt that the men are designed to be foot soldiers if and when the time comes what is missed by many is that the men are coming first. Then they are going to send, with the German taxpayer's funding, the entire extended family.

Then do the math.
