In a 2001 speech, delivered by Fiorina in Aspen, CO, at the Progress and Freedom Foundation Seventh Annual Summit, she stated the following:
The San Jose Mercury reported: Hewlett-Packards Chief Executive Officer, Carly Fiorina, opened the conference with a scholarly address. She did not give interviews, but she did mention a reporter in her speecha young guy who couldnt spell the name of the 19th Century philosopher, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (as in Hegel you know, the process of Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis? I use it every day, said Fiorina). (San Jose Mercury 8/27/2001-Jennifer Files reporter).
In response to the article (9/2/2001) the San Jose Mercury published the following letter to the editor:
"Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorinas reported Getaway to Aspen parallels valley lifestyle, mindset makes an astonishing remark in her opening address to a recent conference of tech leaders in Aspen, Colorado. Hailing the philosophy of Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegels dialectic process, she claims to use it every day. Karl Marx preached it, Nicolai Lenin implemented it in Russia in the early 20th Century, and now we have Hegels dialectic preached and practiced in 21st Century hightech industry. And all this time we were led to believe communism was dead!" Mary Thompson

Fiorina stated her devotion to Hegelian Dialectics as a tool for decision making, suggesting the synthesis of the status of schools to be "charter schools." Charter schools are tax funded, but have no accountability to local school boards ... to wit: taxation without representation.

Carly Fiorina is using Marxist techniques. Why would a conservative use the collectivist ideas of Hegel?

Also see - Fiorina, al-Mansour and the World Economic Forum from 2010 on Canada Free Press by J.B. Williams:
http://canadafreepress.com/article/23814
He states in this article:
"Carly Fiorina sat on the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, which has observer status with the UN Economic and Social Council.
"Agenda 21 and sustainable development (i.e.: global socialism through global governance) Carly sits on the Foundation Board at the mother ship."
"Fiorina also needs to elaborate on her long-term relationship with Dr. Khalid al-Mansour (aka Don Warden, of Black Panther notoriety) Saudi Royal front-man and Obama education financier."

Fiorina sits on other Boards with al-Mansour, such as the African Leadership Academy. Al-Mansour (aka Don Warden) was the man behind the 1960's Black Panther movement. He advocated for a "black nationalist" president, a view he has held since his relationship with Malcolm X (Malcom X died while speaking at one of al-Mansours rallies).

Author's quote: "So, Fiorina has promoted lies from an anti-Christ religion and culture. Is this really the kind of person conservatives, let alone Christians, should be getting behind? If she does this with Islam and history, what do you think her mindset would be when it comes to the Constitution?"
I get the point - but I also see that what Carly is doing - and it is not laudable - she is a B.S. artist. The fact that she is supposedly so smart, and yet believes anthropocentric climate change is reality - despite all the contradicting evidence ... The fact that she has associated herself, on various foundations, with the most unsavory personalities and aligned herself with very questionable causes ... The fact that she practically destroyed Hewlett Packard - and many lives in the process by her non-Aquinas Hegelian determinism - and, to be honest, ruthless disregard for the lives of others - is all I need to dismiss her as just another GOPe spin master.
I’m not a supporter of her.
And yeah, she does have a bit of snobbery about her.
Hey, we agree on something!!
FRegards...
OK, I get you disagree with the poster ... But please, lets be civil in the responses and not start a flame war.
Now, now, no need for the ad humminers.
You accused me of associating hegel with marx. My statement makes no such implication.
Take a deep breath.
Done?
Okay.
Take another one.
Good.
Now read what I wrote again and notice all I said was that Marx followed Hegel. I didn’t say anything about Hegel following and thus associating with Marx.
BK Eakman has written a lot about the Delphi Technique:
“In group settings, the Delphi Technique is an unethical method of achieving consensus on controversial topics. It requires well-trained professionals, known as “facilitators” or “change agents,” who deliberately escalate tension among group members, pitting one faction against another to make a preordained viewpoint appear “sensible,” while making opposing views appear ridiculous.”
It is social engineering: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LM6gFr8ywg
Anytime you have a “moderator” present at a meeting...beware.
It’s Hegelian.
Helegian?? Lol. It’s Hegelian.
Even if Marx himself followed Hegelian dialectics, how does this mean that Fiorina is a leftist?
Basically, Hegelian dialectics says there’s an idea, an opposing idea, and then society adopts the compromise. The compromise becomes the new idea, and then there’s an opposing idea for that, and so on.
I’ve long wished the GOP would pay attention to Hegelian dialectics because the Left sure does. Every time a Republican gives in and compromises, society moves further to the left.
Why not pull the left toward the right? Really, what am I misunderstanding here?
You are trying to make conservatives look stupid.
A better way to put it would be to say that all Marxist are Hegalians but not all Hegalians are Marxist
For Example W. Edward Demming was an engineer that used a Hegalian synthetic logic to design quality control systems. These systems were used by Toyota to bury US automobile manufacturers that were using a different quality control metric. We know this process as the quality control cycle or Demming Cycle today where a product is created, examined and then improved constantly.
While the idea was originally put forward by Walter A. Shewhart it was Deming who convinced Toyota to use it and the process has spread to industries world wide.
It is hard to call Toyota a communist institution yet a large part of their success is based upon an application of Hegalian logic to the manufacturing process.
Yes, that is a better way. And a very illustrative story.
Thanks much for your post..
“Really, what am I misunderstanding here?”
“Ive long wished the GOP would pay attention to Hegelian dialectics because the Left sure does. Every time a Republican gives in and compromises, society moves further to the left.”
Exactly.
And Fiorina is a propaganda mouthpiece for the anthropocentric climate change nonsense - among other things. That is sufficient for her disqualification, if for no other reason than a myopic stupidity. Because, she is either stupid, or else an arrogant elitist - and her tenure ate HP tends to support both assertions.
Is that akin to the new-age psycho-nonsense that was / is promoted by groups like LifeSpring?
Wilhelm Immanuel Heleg, 1780-1860
Wilhelm Heleg was a German Philosopher who discovered the procedure later referred to as the 'Helegian Diuretic'. The procedure involved adding just the right propositions to an existing philosophical argument in order for all the sophistry to spill out.
He is often confused with Georg Hegel who he considered a bitter rival. Heleg believed Hegel to be a master of adding sophistry upon sophistry to support his increasingly tendentious arguments, considering his own methods a necessary antidote.
What the heck does Delphi technique have to do with this?
Delphi Technique is what you experience in the meeting
They are symbiotic
Wow..this is a pretty high falutin discussion in here...I suppose a comment about pinto beans would be inappropriate. Yes?
At least the implementation philosophy. Plenty of intermediate steps that may or may not come about use the same method. Agenda 21, regionalism, etc.
Please spell it correctly.
