GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - A billboard on the side of us 50 just south of the Colorado River, is causing quite a stir in our community.
The controversial image depicting Donald trump as a dragon slayer is attached to the side of a private building in full view of the highway where thousands of people pass each day.
The billboard is 10 ft high and 20 ft. wide and is attached to a building just south of the US 50 bridge over the Colorado River on route to orchard mesa.
The man behind the billboard is Arvid Mosnes. He commissioned the design, and funded the costs.
Mosnes says that the depiction highlights how the heavily influenced media has ruined this country.
"Freedom of speech is everything, and that's why I really put the media in there, its politically correct Muslim Marxist influence media".
The actual artwork itself was created by Paul Snover. Mosnes and Snover teamed up in 2010 for a political Obama in 2010 that drew media attention around the world.

The political poster in the same Grand Junction location from 2010 depicted the president as a bandit, an illegal immigrant, a terrorist, and a homosexual.

Yes, that would make it a billboard alright.
In the video report, U.S. 50 east, is traveled by 78,000 cars a day!!!
If you are not familiar with Grand Junction, CO., it is near where the film star Kevin Costner, in character, participated in a big time bicycle race, maybe his second film of his career.
I like how the dragon has two wings that a labeled. The right wing is “RINOS” and the left wing is “LIBTARDS”. Left and right wing of the same monster.
But Churchill had BAD habits like drinking alcohol and SMOKING cigars!!!
ONLY someone pure as the driven snow is worthy of our votes.
Didn’t the old western towns often hire the least criminal of the gunslingers to stop the depredations of the others?
Love it. Each week Trump just tightens the screw a little tighter.
It’s easy and worth a thousand words...
bingo
Hmmm......not sure that the Donald has even mentioned the Constitution once, let alone using it as a weapon. Taking projection to a new level.
___
He has called upon Jeff Sessions for info - bet he would surround himself with the best people.
keep that kool aid a pouring......
yeah you are right - but the Jeff Sessions consult was a good thing!
yes, the Sessions thing was a great move - but it’s limited to one or two issues only. I really am concerned that Trump is not ever talking about limited government as a principle and the Constitution as a guide.
Trump=Churchill
&&&
Uh, no.
Guess you haven’t heard him talk about the 2nd and 14th Amendments? Where have you been? When have any of the other candidates even mentioned the Constitution? Don’t give me Ted Cruz - he says he will tear up every unconstitutional EO that Obama signed - other than that - I haven’t heard him say much either.
Churchill was a leader and a warrior who rallied the Brits around him with his fearless “can do” rhetoric. During WW2 as Britain stood on the brink and faced it’s greatest challenges he never publically lost his confidence that Britain and her allies would prevail.
The comparison I make is for these particular attributes of fearlessness and a positive attitude.
I know, I know. Some here are still looking for RR to magically appear.
He has mentioned anchor babies and guns - as wedge issues but not as Constitutional rights. There’s a difference..and to be sure he’s on the right side of those issues - but it’s issue based, not Constitutional based. The guy is not now and has never been a limited government conservative. The fact that a couple of issues he’s discussed have something to do with the Constitution is not the same thing.
He also supported the un-Constitutional Kelo decision.....I’m telling you, if you project some kind of great limited government constitutional guy in Trump, it’s only a matter of time before you are embarrassed on that.
Someone here equated him to Braveheart. That would be a cool billboard, too.
While I applaud much of what Trump says about the invasion of the illegals and the “news” media, I can’t get past his history with the left. I want to believe that he would build the wall and “make Mexico pay for it”, but I am worried that many on our side are just following a hope-and-change pied piper.
So you would you rather have a candidate who says he will do as you want but MAY not or one who refuses to even consider what you want and in fact would do the opposite?
