Trump Gives a Glimpse of the Golden Arrow Targeted Toward McConnell/Donohue’s Achilles Heel...
Conservative Treehouse ^ | August 15, 2015 | Sundance

First, an admission: I have seriously underestimated Donald Trump.

After spending more than three years tracking the construct of the GOPe strategy to elect Jeb Bush, and having lost the most single important battle in May 2014 to stop it, I was deflated and disenfranchised.

Few were willing to accept the road-map and sheer level of Machiavellian strategy deployed by the professional political class. Every single prediction (tripwire) which stems from understanding the construct was triggered in the exact sequence. We resigned ourselves to the outlook that Tom Donohue, Mitch McConnell and their team were going to pull it off.

Then the wild-card entered the race. Yesterday, before the speech in New Hampshire last night, Donald Trump gave a press conference. The part that matters comes after the 15:00 minute mark. Please watch before continuing:

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

Now, I believe Trump knows the roadmap. Now I believe Trump knows the construct of the GOPe McDonnell/Donohue scheme.

When Trump speaks of the GOP and Citizens United he is putting sunlight upon something almost NO-ONE was, or is, paying attention to.

If you look back closely at the history of the last few election cycles you will see what Trump is fully aware of, and what few have EVER paid attention to....

So in other words - the presidency of the US will be bought again by someone whom will use his own money instead of taxpayers money. So their really is no difference between Obama and Trump, both have a price and both only care about themselves. Great, and we are to support this guy!

I said back over a year ago that a right leaning populist can win this thing.

The GOPe thought they could peddle the same pablum this go around.

They were wrong.

I honestly believe Trump is all hot air. All the talk but really no action. Lets see some real action coming from Trump - what about all the real possibility of illegal aliens working for Trump’s business’ right now have they been deported. The proof is in the reality of Trump’s existing business. Show the facts Trump of your business deporting its illegal aliens from construction workers, landscapers to hotel workers, maids, busboys and etc.

Cruz was going after the Washington, D.C. mafia long before Trump entered the race.

Dont support him then. To me, you sound like a socialist. Since when does the candidate use taxpayer money to run a campaign?

Yes Cruz was .. but now Cruz is not seen as a “bomb thrower” because Trump is just throwing bigger bombs of truth.

Cruz does have a tendency to take the high road .. and that’s just the way it is. I still think Cruz has as good a chance as anyone to get the nomination; and I’m still not afraid to support him.

He will use, at last accounts, 1 billion of his own money, they cant match it.

He doesn't need to. The only money he's spent to become the strong frontrunner is airline fuel, to to from place to place. The media covers him breathlessly because he oozes celebrity. Jeb could have spent $100 million on ads already and not gotten to 15%. The GOPe is in big trouble with Trump

if you truly believe Trump can accomplish anything by “Calling people who disagree with him stupid,

Precisely what Cruz supporters here do to Trump supporters. Pot-Kettle.

If Trump goes after “Citizens United” he will appeal directly to the democrat base. I am not sure where he stands on the issue.

Cruz is a guy that Trump would endorse because Cruz does not hesitate to publicly agree when Trump is right on an issue.

Good article. Conservatives who cheered Citizens United were fools.

Anyone with a brain could have seen what the outcome of that ruling would be.

You sound a lot like Yeb Bush there rikki! Rino's and sellouts keep saying these things can't be done...there is too many obstacles...BULL! It can be done, it is not a difficult thing to enforce laws we already have and to adhere to the Constitution when making laws. A conservative revolt in the Republican party would fit just fine with the voter anger Trump is tapping into and the demise of the corrupt Dim-like leadership of the GOP. You underestimate by a long shot how quickly things can change under a strong leader and emboldened movement of conservatives and even centrists who Trump is getting large support from. So save your defeatist drivel and get onboard or be run over asshat!

"...us Cruz supporters"

...huh?! Maybe you haven't noticed rikki but there sure is a lot of dual support here at FR with conservative FReeepers for both Cruz and Trump...maybe you missed all the Trump/Cruz 2016 ...Cruz/Trump 2016 ... Go Trump Go! ... Go Cruz Go! in threads here at FR. Nice try amateur, trying to make this about Trump vs Cruz...I support Cruz and as a matter a fact Cruz agrees with Trump 100%. Which side exactly are you on rikki? You and Eddie attacking pro-Trump FReepers is counter productive to where we want to go! We conservatives want to win this time not end up with Yeb Bush and another Dim President to further Obama's agenda of destroy America!

So sit back 'lil-miss-it-can't-be-done', and watch Trump and Cruz deal a blow to the Rino party.

Trump’s release on Immigration was very good today. Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz have been saying this stuff for 2 years.

Trump has been preaching this for at least 4 years and most of it going back almost ten years.

Oh and it is called leadership, Trump has that quality that few have to get the job done. Reagan had it so does Trump who is also unencumbered to get done what he says he will, no money string-pullers to answer to.

It is a "WE" Will Make American Great Again...in spite of naysayers like you rikki.

Don't pull your shite with me again riiki, or I will take off my gentle gloves, loser!

And now Trump is too with even more force. Is that not ok with you?

Do you want conservative agendas to win or not?

If it is down to Trump vs Jeb, who you supporting?

and .. especially if Cruz has already made an effort to highlight something Trump believes; before Cruz even knew what Trump thought about the issue.

Do you see how the GOPe use of Super PACs coordinated with the actions of Lois Lerner? Now we know why she is not in prison. Obama wasn’t the only one enjoying her actions.

I think I may be the guy that invented Cruz or Lose but I have to admit it is gonna take a Hercules to clean out the stables in DC. Trump may be the one who can “turn the boat around” and then put Cruz at the helm to stay the course.
