Scott Walker weighed in on the latest Donald Trump kerfuffle on Twitter, saying there was no excuse for Trumps remarks about Megyn Kelly. Walker has so far made a point of staying out of the fray, avoiding both engaging with Trump or responding to Trumps attacks on him. But today he changed tack, taking a jab at the business mogul.

Walker should slink back off with his good buddies Reince Priebus, Paul Ryan, and Grover Norquist.
Walker makes Romney look exciting.
“I agree with @CarlyFiorina, theres no excuse for Trumps comments. Stand with @MegynKelly. -SW”
Really, Scott? Stand with MeAgain Kelly? After she gave Donald Trump almost eleven debate minutes, and you only got a little over five minutes? You’re on the wrong side of this battle Scotty.
I don't know if Walker was ever our guy. He says some nice stuff, but he seems so scripted.
I think Carly is rightfully defensive in the presence of a very successful billionaire entrepreneur
Given her past executive record, she would have been “ fired” from “The Apprentice”
Thanks Boss. :)
Donald Trump called Erick Erickson a total loser...
Erick sold out the tickets to Trump’s appearance... he’s “losing” all the way to the bank, with the DC media cheering him LOL!
That truly was excellent.
‘Course, it wasn’t the debate format.
Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard. Mr. Trump said blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else. This related to the debate, which because of Mr. Trump had 24 million viewers the biggest in cable news history. According to TIME, Newsmax, Drudge Report, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Hill and many others, Mr. Trump won the debate.
This is how the media does it. They completely make something up. People BELIEVE what the media makes up. And if were any other Republican the statement would have been:
"Mr. Trump is very sorry. He did not mean to imply that he was referring to the gender of Ms. Kelly. He wishes to extend a sincere apology to all those whom he may have inadvertently offended"
The headline would have been "Trump apologizes for his sexist comment".
But no, Trump is a genius and I'm more and more impressed by him by the second. He doesn't apologize. He turns it BACK on them and says "You're a sicko if you thought I was saying that. Screw you."
Wow!
That would be "her and Trump"...still haven't gotten around to proper English in Appalachia?;-)
And the "reason" she might not appear to love Trump is she'll do anything to gained a little traction.
Is she your candidate?
Do you really care?
I don't particularly care about what a bully gets in return, especially when it's obvious they expected to remain unscathed.
I REALLY don't care how a prospective President handles a snarky reporter.
This narrows it down to Cruz, Carson, and Trump. I’m loving the tougher Trump gets the more support he garners.
We know what he meant.
Bad move. Very bad move. Apparently the Walker people didnt brief him on the Kelly backlash across the country now numbering in at least the hundreds of thousands.
Now Walker has no chance of serving in any capacity in a Trump administration.
Good Post, exactly so.
Walker is a flip flopper, first for amnesty now against, just like Rubberio.
Walker got 3% in the Drudgereport poll that almost 600,000 people voted for who won the debate. Not good for someone who was the leader just weeks ago.
I hope all the people who didn’t like Kelly and Wallace ambushing Trump with issues that have nothing to do with what concerns the people of America BOYCOTT watching their shows.
Kelly is like Trump said not very talented. And like I said she should get her crooked nose fixed.
Comparred to Mrs. Trump, Kelly is a dog.
Other Repubs attacking Trump may not be a winning strategy.
If he doesn’t go down, they lose. If he does go down, they could appear to be piling on.
Of course, the media will try to pull them into the fray. The media are expert at using one Pubbie against another.
Remember Clinton's War Room that immediately went into action whenever there was a criticism of him? It works.
RULE 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon. There is no defense. Its irrational. Its infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.
RULE 8: Keep the pressure on. Never let up. Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new.
RULE 10: If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive. Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.
* RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (
So true. The nothing burger was just that in the debate as I predicted. He needs to stay in WI.
Did you have first hand knowledge of him shutting down businesses or was it hearsay? What was Trump Towers like? More detail please.
Bitchiness occurs during PMS: premenstrual syndrome. Trump is correct because if he actually was correlating Megyn’s bitchiness to her cycle she wouldn’t yet be menstruating. Just saying.
This was a brilliant statement by Trump. It’s vague and if one interprets it as a menstruation comment then that person is a perv. Once again, Trump Hillary slaps the talking heads.
I think we have a lot of “sleepers” in the GOPe, FOX news, etc. A sleeper does not risk revealing their sleeper status until the stakes are high enough.
I think Trump is forcing their hand. I’m not a big fan of a Trump presidency, but I LOVE what he is doing to this race.
