Secretary of State John Kerry had an intense exchange when he tried to sell the Iran nuclear deal to skeptical Jewish leaders in New York on Friday.
A day after GOP senators blasted him for getting fleeced by Iran, Kerry faced another tough crowd in a closed-door meeting with about 120 Jewish leaders at the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
It was very intense exchange, serious exchange, the groups vice chairman, Malcolm Hoenlein, told The Post.
Kerry spoke from a podium and fielded pointed questions from a crowd of Israel supporters concerned that the deal could allow Iran to get relief from sanctions while still maintaining some nuclear infrastructure that could threaten Israel.
There was no acrimony, but there was intensity, at the event, held at the Stern College for Women in midtown, said Hoenlein
He said members asked Kerry about snapback provisions if Iran cheats, a 24-day waiting period for nuclear inspections, and the window of when Iran gets to re-start some nuclear R&D.

some are so much a Democrat that they may be getting killed by these deals and it just might dawn on them that they have for decades been backing their enemies through the Democrat party.
without Jewish American money and votes,
This punk ass poser would have never won.
That and white guilt, a clean, articulate negro?
Yo Israel, buh, bye.
And after the “tense exchange” how much did the American Jews then contribute to Obama/Clinton, and the DNC. I mean, it was a fundraiser too, right?
If America’s so-called ‘’Jewish leaders’’ truly cared about the fate of Israel, they would have held many ‘’intense exchanges’’ with John Kerry and Barack Obama BEFORE they signed the Iran treaty.
One of the most intense exchanges the Jewish leaders would have held would have emphasized that Jewish donors would no longer contribute to Democratic politicians’ election campaigns, nor would they contribute to Barack Obama’s presidential library unless Obama ended his treasonous exercise in giving aid and comfort to Israel’s and America’s most virulent enemy, Iran.
Such a meeting was never held or we would have heard about it, just as we heard today about the Jewish leaders’ futile meeting with John Kerry. What purpose did it serve, since John Kerry will not un-sign the treaty, except to fool Jewish donors to keep funding their Jewish organizations, which in truth do nothing for Israel when they have the opportunity to do so.
I don’t know what Jewish people these leaders are supposed to be leading, but I’m not one of them. The best way to help Israel is to send contributions to organizations like the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews which actually help the people of Israel, particularly newly arrived refugees fleeing the horrors in the Ukraine or the growing anti-Semitism in Europe.
Intense. Give him another medal.
