Full Title:Tied to a bed, injected with morphine to stay 'silent' and beaten so badly she couldn't walk for two months: Two Yazidi sex slaves relive the unspeakable cruelty they suffered at hands of ISIS fighters

Two Yazidi women have told of the unimaginable cruelty they suffered at the hands of ISIS fighters who kept them as their sex slaves after raiding their homes in Iraq. One, a 19-year-old mother, says she allowed her first captor who 'bought her' to rape her 'whenever he wanted' because he would beat her one-year-old baby son if she resisted. Her son was the only thing stopping her from taking her own life. Her second jailer raped an elderly mother and her daughter. The second woman, 25, was sold again and again to a string of cruel fanatics who tied her to the bed and drugged her with morphine to keep her 'silent'. She was beaten so badly that she could not walk for two months. From the relative safety of the Khanke refugee camp in Iraq, they revealed to MailOnline the gruesome reality of being an ISIS prisoner - and the remarkable stories of how they escaped.

Caiaphas does not call you to believe in the Lord.

What is all this haughty snottiness about? Your biggest righteousness will wilt against ISIS.

A real live connection to the real live Lord is needed to make justice stick against such evil. Otherwise we can say woe to it all we want... and at best, that waits for eternity.

I see so many people who pronounce judgment and couldn’t seem to be further from the Judge. Not a recommended stance when the power of Satan is on the loose.

Your comment is so interesting. I certainly feel the same way you do as untold number of others. Throughout the ages people have sought conjured up ways to deal with, overcome evil infinitely more diabolical than what is going on now with ISIS. We are aware of it only as a function of our modern world. But this mode of warfare, treatment of others that were deemed unworthy has been going on for thousands of years.

To the Romans, cruelty was a trait to be admired and held in the highest esteem. Cruelty was characteristic of great men of history. Crucifixion one of the most heinous and agonizing of punishments was conjured up by the Romans to extract the worst sort of penalty for defying Rome. Go to YouTube and let them regale you in stories regarding inventions of torture that boggle the mind. They could have killed those quickly and less painfully but they chose the worst possible form of death for their enemies.

This noble power you very eloquently expressed throughout history was brought to bar in the guise of god or God, be it Yahweh or The Son of God. But in many instances, this noble power was inconsistent at best. it seemed to most that the good go unrewarded and the evil go unpunished.

As time went on, people began calling upon this noble power from within. Armies, self protection, weaponry, took over the task of relying on a noble power to save themselves. The best example is Israel. Throughout history while Jews wee in exile, their attitude was one in which they believed, it was of no use to attempt to battle the much larger and powerful gentile forces against them and would pray to their Almighty to deliver them from exile, again looking for a noble power that never came.

And then, the Jews learned the lesson of survival in the post Holocaust-era. Yahweh did not as much as save a single child, no Jew was spared unless he had the means
to defend himself in a real world realm of strength of self defense, weaponry.

Now look at Israel now. Antisemitism is as rampant as ever, boycotts organized by Universities of higher learning, Church organizations talk only of divestiture, the Arab world is armed to the teeth,Iran is building its Atom bomb design on one that is three times more powerful than what destroyed, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. ISIS shoots missiles from the Sinai, Europe, the very birthplace of Antisemitism and Russia as well is being emptied of Jews as result of the Muslim threat.

Just today, Netanyahu made an announcement of Israel turning away from the West and has entered into financial arrangements with China and Asia, traditionally not antisemitic.

What Israel has accomplished is not to rely on some noble power that never can be relied upon.you rely upon yourself. The entire world knows that to attack Israel, or even to attempt to destroy it completely will only lead to the Cold war strategy of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction)

Yes, indeed. The Jews learned their lesson very well.

A noble power is as noble as it may be to intercede upon your behalf, otherwise, please allow me the dignity to protect myself on my own terms. Even in the hearts and minds of those who have no where to turn, imagination and fantasy would help those looking for noble power if only in their minds. The character of Superman, created out of the minds of his Jewish creators was born out of the concept of a Messiah Complex. Like Jesus Christ Himself who wanted to save the world as a result of his Messiah Complex, so, too, was Superman born out of the same need and fear.

A noble power. None so noble as those who defend themselves and save others. we are the noble power that must destroy Islam for all time. We are the noble power to save those who need saving.

There are no other noble powers but yourself.

Re: “There are no other noble powers but yourself”

If this were true, we would be in much worse shape.

The early Pilgrims should never have survived, but they did.

Colonial America should never have been able to defeat the strongest military power in its revolution against Britain, but it did.

America should have lost the Battle of Midway, but we found the Japanese carriers first, which also just happened to have their decks covered with munitions because their commanding Admiral changed the order for the type of munitions to be carried on their planes - at that very moment, our planes struck -very, very, lucky for us. We defeated Britain and the Axis powers all on our own strength and will power? Respectfully, I don’t believe so

When the Romans destroyed Israel in 70 AD, Israel should never have survived as a people for over 2000 years, yet not only did they survive, their nation was re-established in 1947, and yes, they have had a rough go of it, yet here they are still. All by their own power you say? I don’t believe that.

God didn’t save a single child from the Holocaust? I don’t believe that either.

Please don’t misunderstand me, I do get your cynicism and disbelief in the “pie in the sky by and by” religion. But, that’s not who Jesus is nor is that what He is about. He delivers us now from our slavery to sin as well as our certain damnation in Hell. He defeated death and because of that, we do not need to fear death as it will only promote us to eternal joy and life with Him in Heaven.

There is more going on than what we can only see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. There is more going on than what man does with military might and strength.

I understand that the world looks cold, cruel, and the only reality is what we do on our own. I am not arguing with you, nor angry, rather I have only a sense of sadness that life has ground you down to disbelief and cynicism - and yet, you do see the nobleness of saving the helpless and standing up to evil. I believe that is God’s fingerprints on your life and upon the lives of all those who are willing to go against wrong, even if it means putting one’s own life at risk.

God bless you for that as there are many who will not speak up or put their lives on the line when it really counts. Though you and I may disagree about God, I would be proud to fight along side you in the battle line. I hope you might feel the same toward me.

America has been used to seeing this kind of thing answered by its own armed forces.

But they won’t do squat if our current King Obama does not tell them to.

There is a spiritual battle going on in which the Lord wants us to choose the right deity (i.e. Him).

It’s the devil who goes on and on about how God is a pie in the sky and no use and all that rot. Forever distorting the balance between the mortal coil and eternity. And he gets more mindshare than he should (certainly more than he deserves).

When the power of darkness comes in like a flood... the Lord will raise up a “standard.”

This means a central point, a flag to rally around. And it sure ain’t the ISIS flag, whatever else it may be.

Is anybody else fighting this scourge?

You bring up some interesting points. 1.You've relegated the fortunate outcome to circumstances that loomed disastrous to a noble power that otherwise might be called a deity,Supreme Being, God. you say it as a matter of fact but you have no license, no right to make such a giant leap. There are a myriad of empirical reasons why those in danger managed to survive. You were not there to ignore other events that may have contributed to their survival and simply say it was God.

2. You mention the survival of the Pilgrims. But there are untold number of incidences whereby individuals every bit as God-fearing that did not, most of which are lost to history. So, I can not accept your comment as irrefutable.

3.Come on. You're an adult. "America should have lost the battle of Midway". What kind of argument is that? They should have won the battle of Midway, if the circumstances they found fortuitous was there for them to win. As the Americans attacked, the Japanese were loading their aircraft onto the flight deck at the same time and were able to destroy them all due to indecisiveness of the Japanese Command structure. It's all a matter of circumstances o the physical kind, nothing supernatural

4. I've often wondered why Jews have managed to survive all this time.If you pro-rated the number of Jews at the time of the Temple to today's population there should be 200 million Jews. Where did they go? Certainly we know. they were slaughtered throughout the centuries. But I figured out the answer validated by a Jewish professor at NYU. The Non-Jews never allowed Jews to live among them. Keeping them segregated, ghettoized gave them the longevity they otherwise never would have had. Proof is, Jews having moved to China prior to WW2 had all but disappeared. Why?

Because the Chinese never segregated them. They lived among the Chinese, lost their identity, intermarried and disappeared, exactly what is happening to the Jewish people in america. Intermarriage, freedom to live anywhere in America all contribute to the loss of Jews. did you know that Reform Judaism is for all intents and purposes extinct? The demographers found that there are no third generation Reform Jews.By the time they hit the third generation they are so assimilated they don't consider themselves as Jews.

But there still is hope for the world and even for the both of us.

You see, I am agnostic, not atheist.

I absolutely agree WITH YOU that
There is more going on than what we can only see, hear, feel, smell, and taste. There is more going on than what man does with military might and strength.

So, there is still yet hope for me, mankind. :-)

You are quite correct that my “arguments” are not very thorough. In fact, I wasn’t making an extensive theological argument at all. I’ve tried that before and it usually doesn’t acomplish too much.

My reason for responding was just to say that, though it often appears that we are completely alone, and that that cruelty and evil often win the day, that my faith in God says, no, there IS more to this life than we can physically see or perceive.

I know that, to some, such a faith seems wishful thinking, and in all honesty, I can understand, when faced with the awful realty that smacks us in the face everyday with stories of horror happening here at home and around the world, that some would balk at the idea that there was some “God” behind the scenes, working history toward a meaningful purpose or ending. I guess my historical examples were only meant to point out that improbable things happen that defy the odds. One could say it was mere chance, but I choose to believe that there was more to it than that. My proof? I can’t prove it.

I mentioned the Pilgrims, and I would be the first to say that I In no way meant to diminish the terrible siuffering they endured or the many other early colonists who suffered as much, yet didn’t make it as they did. But, I think from a human viewpoint, many of them shouldn’t have made it, but did. Why? I cannot answer that question. I know many of them had an enduring faith in God that would put me to shame, yet they never gave up their faith. I believe that God helped them through it. Why He didn’t do it for everyone? Again, I cannot give an answer.

As to the Jewish people, I think it is nothing short of miraculous that they do still exist. I believe it is because God has a purpose for them. Why all the suffering? Again, I cannot give that answer, but I still believe that they belong to Him. My evidence? I guess because they still are.

I am glad that you are not atheistic, but rather agnostic. At least you are open to the idea and are willing to discuss it. Perhaps God will help you find Him at some point. I pray that He will. I wish I were a better witness for you and could give better answers to your legitimate questions. I pray you will run across someone who can.
