It’s axiomatic that when a socialist regime hits the skids, the left will generally try to claim that such regime is ‘right wing’ somehow. Such claims can and will be completely irrational on their face, but for the national socialist Left it’s all about talking points and a simplistic ( but ‘superior’) mentality that favors headlines and shallow thought on the subject
And before you complain that I dare use the word ‘national’ next to the word ‘socialist’ I would ask that you please explain in detail (with documentation) Just how in Hades’ the word national modifies the meaning of the word ‘Socialist’. Because it doesn’t – even the dictionaries contradict themselves in this regard… but that’s a discussion for a different day.
So Grecian Socialism has officially gone belly up – as it has everywhere it’s been tried. It’s an article of faith of the national socialist Left to blame others and pretend that socialist regimes AREN’T socialist. And try to sell people on the BS that non-socialist nations ARE really socialist.
It’s also an article of faith that Socialism can work with the right people (meaning them) in charge.
It just takes the right kind of genius (like Obama) the right amount of other people’s money, the right kind of oppression of liberty and when the time is right, mass murder of their opposition… (OOP’s ! did I say that last part out loud?)
But here we have a glaring example of the complete and utter FAILURE of their precious ideology staring everyone in the face.
Will the national socialist Left actually question their blind faith in Marx and Obama?
Will they realize that all of socialism’s promises are a LIE meant only to install the socialists in power?

Nope, their strategy will be the same old same old – deny reality and LIE that said FAILED socialist nation is really Right wing after all (Who knew?) It’s won’t matter how they arrive at this conclusion 180 degrees from reality, only that they convince themselves this is the case and blanket the airwaves with superficial talking points that somehow make their case.
(And anyone who questions these talking points is a Racist, Homophobic hater not worthy of being listened to. … as is the usual when losing a logical argument with the National Socialist Left)
The problem is they need to spend more money. At least that is what the left says here, and how to fix our economic woes.

Easy- step one will be to have a left-wing media blackout that will leave many under the impression that Greece no longer exists. They will beat the large corporations into ignoring it, using the power of the government and the media. Then, they will have their academic buddies lie about the success of socialism in Northern Europe. It isn’t a hard playbook.

The other reason they give for a failed society is that they weren’t allowed to be socialist enough.

Trust me, I’ve had many an argument with our leftist ‘friends’ on the subject and beyond a couple mindless talking points, they have nothing to back up one of their biggest LIES.
Ask them about the inconvenient fact of the word ‘Socialist’ right in their name and all you’ll get is a big load of BS about it being ‘propaganda’...
OR they will mention North Korea or some other (ironically) Communist state...
Of which both utterly fail to explain the facts of the situation.

A socialist is just a communist without the courage of his convictions. You see, when communist fail, they have no one to blame but themselves because they own the means of production and it was their plan that did not work.
Socialist do not own the means of production, but they do force their unworkable plan on those who do own the means of production. That way, when their plan fails, as it always does, they can blame those mean owners of the means of production. Those socialists have figured out how to screw things up without having to take the blame. It’s always someone elses’ fault with socialists.
Same way they always do: They’ll deny it’s socialism and expect everyone to play dumb along with them.
It’s what they’ve done with the USSR, North Korea, Vietnam, China and all the other failed commie countries.

I’ve argued many a time when they’ve actually denied the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was Socialist.
Denial can be very sad to witness at times...
