CAFTA

Maybe some of you FREEPERS who bash Cruz for supporting TPA and who hold Jeff Sessions up as being a new hero for Americans....

Can you tell me WHY he supported CAFTA? Doesn't CAFTA give back door access to illegal immigration? Doesn't this hurt the American worker?

Inquiring minds want to know.

There is NOTHING about this whole TPA, TPP, TAA, TIA whatever that cannot wait for 18 months.

Exactly. Whats the hurry? They should be stalling until O leaves office.

Nope, we are not upset by it. I am not upset and many I know are not.

I can tell that you haven’t been paying attention. He has, countless times, EXPAINED HIMSELF...you refuse to accept his answer.

Does he need to write it out for you...or draw pictures? This whole “he needs to explain it” garbage has been done.

You must be a Paulie...

Obviously, you have an idea of what is going on, so maybe I’d consult you.

LOL...not hardly.

This is all about Republican RINO leadership still thinking they have to pander to independents, moderates and Hispanics to win their own spots and the White House next year.

They were given an unmistakable mandate last November and they are taking it as a license to keep on acting like a bunch of asses. They don’t realize that the vote results were a last chance at redemption. They are failing miserably.

There is nothing wrong with pointing out Cruz’s missteps. There is no perfect representative for one but ones self. Cruz should be able to take critism and so should you.

I support the US Constitution and Transparency.

Since you lie incessantly, throw ad hominems,
and support Goldman Sachs and Obama on Trade Deals,
you should consider some honesty and wear a “warning label”.

He has...but the over the top criticism isn’t good. Look, you dont’ like the deal. Get over it.

If you drop your support, then so be it.

Some of us don’t have an issue with TPA. Shouldn’t you be able to take that too?

The House passed TPA. Where is the history of past TPAs? Why does it need to be 6 years? Who wrote it?

Was the anti-American OBAMA the president when Sessions voted for a bad trade deal?

Does it matter?

You're kidding, right? Why would anyone give Obama filibuster proof authority on anything? Especially with a congress so unmanned they refuse to confront him on anything at all?

Did CAFTA give fast track authority to the president?

Did it contain provision governing health care?

Are there direct points of correlation in the two bills?

So, Cruz Bashers: Who should be our next President?

None of the above. Cruz is only being singled out because of the high level of his fraudulence. They're all captured by the globalists and the NWO. It's hilarious watching people desperately hang on to a cult of personality. The politicians will not save you.

Cruz didn’t vote to make it happened. My understanding is that TPA was simply renewed with this vote? I could be wrong, though.

Cruz claims he has read TPP and found nothing objectionable in it. He now claims he hasn't decided to vote for it or not. But he voted for TPA which specifically puts TPP and any other trade deals that Obama can come up with in the next 18 months on a fast track where 50 Senators and Biden can force it into law.

TPA effectively cuts off debate on the TPP and forces an up or down vote. This is the same thing as cloture. Cruz has said dozens of times that a vote for cloture is a vote for the bill. So using Ted Cruz's own arguments that he has used dozens of times, Ted Cruz has voted for this secret agreement. Now that everyone has a clue as to what is in it, Ted Cruz is trying to back track claiming that he hasn't made up his mind about voting for it. But Obama and McConnell can get their 50+1 votes from other people and Cruz can then dishonestly claim that he voted against it.

Then Cruz will effectively have used the same dishonest method of getting cover that he has accused all the RINOs of doing when they caved pretended to vote against funding Obamacare when they voted for cloture on the continuing resolution.

I really hate it when people I have put my faith and trust in betray me.

But, that didn’t address my concern...TPA is nothing new..so how can Cruz be blamed for this?

Actually I’d like some explanations from the rest of the candidates. With the exception of Rand (Zero Chance) Paul, every last one of them have actively supported and lobbied for it only to duck and let Cruz take all the fire for it. That’s pretty damn cowardly in my opinion.

I’ll say: None of the above. Cruz was my last resort. He screwed the pooch with me over this.
One less coward now, huh?
This will be the 1st time since 1980, when I could cast my first vote, that I will probably not vote. I voted McCain and Romney against my better judgement. I will not vote again for anyone who goes along with anything that restricts my freedoms or sells my country out in the slightest. I am done compromising.
I’ll most probably write someone in.

Yes it did. It didn’t deal with health care as that wasn’t an issue...but did did allow, from my understanding, for back door AMNESTY. Which is relevant to today.

The correlation...this hurts the American worker in the minds of those who oppose Free Trade. It amazes me that Sessions can oppose a trade deal now, when voting for CAFTA and normalizing Trade with China.

Because:

OBAMA IS THE CURRENT PRESIDENT!

Nobody should be giving Obama any more power than he has currently usurped.
