Mark Levin addresses the talk about the type of candidate that the United States needs if we are going to have any chance of extricating ourselves from the overwhelming destruction of the Obama regime. He says it doesn’t really matter to him what the current employment of the individual that would assume the office of President of the United States. What matters are that person’s values, their vision and their leadership ability.
He sees an agenda to restore the Republic, respect for the American people, stop ruling by the administrative state and regulation and the infamous pen and phone. He notes that our founding principles are largely ignored by Democrats and misunderstood by many Republicans, with millions of Americans never hearing the topic discussed.
He points to Senator Ted Cruz, who was fought every step of the way by the Texas Republican establishment and then trashed incessantly since he’s been in the United States Senate.
Levin says we need somebody that can rally the American people to their own defense, to their own survival, to rein in the out of control debt. He says that nothing prepares you for the presidency but character and that is the trait that we should be seeking in a candidate.
Levin notes how Obama, a man of no character, has been extremely effective at destroying the United States from within. We need someone who is the exact opposite for the rebuilding process. He remarks that being able to speak and having charisma are important, as the next president will need to be able to rally the people to their own salvation.
We need a LEADER! something we lack today—Someone who will kick butt and take names. A fellow who scares our enemies —and we have a few out there. Ted Cruz in top of the list but others are out there. We do not need a weak Libertarian like Ron Paul—Or a “God Fearing” Huckabee— we need a MAN not a professor or a Bible Thumper. We have been leaderless even Hillary looks good for all her corruption and lies. Let us make our selections early and not beat each other up in the GOP.

You have to do things in the proper order. The federal bureaucrats think they own the country. Have the Vice President in charge of firing bureaucrats. That protects the President. Then, make America pro-business. We compete internationally. Get the government out of the way and let our companies compete fairly with companies in other countries. We need to be the Tigers of business. That will open up jobs that government employees could go to. I don’t want a bunch of ex-government employees on welfare. I want them working in the private sector with a stake in making our companies successful. As more people work in the private sector, more tax money is generated and we borrow less to fund government operations.
The trick is to get the government out of the way of the private sector. I frankly don’t care about the Vietnamese or Kenyans. The Democrats can send their private bank accounts to them. The rest of the world is laughing at us and our bumbling Democrats. The Indonesians and the Chinese don’t care one bit about us. Take care of American business and everything else falls in place.
But first, the federal bureaucrats have to relearn the fact that they work for the taxpayers. Fire the ones who don’t get it.
When Mark decides he’s ‘this close’ to leaving the GOP, then doesn’t after the open treason by the party against the people committed after his bold proclimation, he doesn’t have anything trustworthy to listen to. His actions show he doesn’t actually believe the things he says
And lets not forget how he told his audience to vote Romney after trashing him for a good long while. Pick a position and go with it Mr. Conservative. Someone does not suddenly stop sucking hellaciously because you got scared, especially when that guy had a matching record to Obama.
Sorry folks. I know he’s a big hero but the above is not arguable. If thats what we look for in ‘guidance’, it’s little wonder we are in the mess we’re in.
You just named at two that were governors. I don’t think you followed what I said. I felt governors were good choices. But to have to spell it out, not all governors are good choices. But records behind people besides ideology is what I would like to see, in order to make a more informed decision.
Wilson, FDR, Carter, Harding, Clinton. All governors.

Rush Limbaugh believes along with Mark Levin that ideology is the deciding factor. I agree with them. What kind of record did Obama have? None. But look how successful he's been at achieving his agenda.
He wouldn't be a better president if he'd served as a governor. His leftism is what makes him terrible, and he isn't even all that bright.
A lot of people that voted for Iraq voted for him because of his ‘talk’.
Someone can say anything. It’s the things they do that give you a clue. The record is all you have to go on as to their real intentions.
Same people that voted Obama in based on his ‘talk’ are now furious as what he actually has done and is doing.
They had no idea because he did not have much of a prior record to go on.
When you go for a job if you ‘talk up your ideas’ do you not find the employer still says where have you worked before and proceeds to look up your record.

Then how did we all know what a far-left radical he was, and how bad he would be for the country? We weren't surprised.We tried to tell them, but they weren't having it.
That's because his lack of a record wasn't the issue; it was (and is) his leftism, which was plain for anyone who was paying attention.
Again, the right knew full well how radical Obama was and tried to warn the country...and we knew despite his lack of a record.
