ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The family of Michael Brown announced they will file a civil suit against the City of Ferguson. They will claim wrongful death of Michael Brown Jr. Members of the Brown legal team plan a press conference Thursday at the St. Louis County Courthouse in Clayton. Attorneys Benjamin Crump, Anthony Gray and Daryl Parks said they would have no statement before the press conference. The attorneys said six weeks ago, that while a county grand jury and the Justice Department accepted Wilson’s claim of self-defense, “We do not accept his self-defense” One of the attorney’s says the evidence to be presented will be basically the same as what the grand jury saw and heard. However, the burden of proof in the civil suit will be less than it was for the grand jury. It will rule on the case based on the ‘preponderance of evidence’ rather than ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’. The attorneys are planning a 10:30 a.m. press conference at the courthouse. Stay with KMOX and KMOX.COM for updates. Meanwhile a group of St. Louis activists is filing a lawsuit against St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch claiming he acted in bad faith during the Grand Jury proceedings and never intended to prosecute officer Darren Wilson. The group says it will ask a judge to appoint a special prosecutor who could oust McCulloch from office. The group plans a news conference on Friday.
The phrase Rest In Peace clearly means absolutely nothing to these people does it.

Best they save their current assets as they will need it to keep themselves out of jail or, when convicted due to their other crimes, for bail money. Dumb asses, that bunch.

I thought the firing of Officer Wilson was to appease them. They ran off a decent human being and Officer. I still maintain that if I lived in Ferguson and was White, the sun would not set on my ass in Ferguson.
This article doesn’t say who the defendant(s) will be, but once they are served, I hope they respond with a motion to dismiss and for sanctions against the plaintiffs and their attorneys for filing a frivolous lawsuit.
Funny how little the parents cared about Michael Brown when he was alive, but now they care because they can make money off their dead son. These people are grifters.
I can’t wait to see the plaintiffs explain that video in the convenience store...and the results of the three autopsies for that matter.And during this trial we’ll finally get to see the details of GG’s *juvenile* record.
