Hillary Clinton fired back Monday at questions about a potentially damaging new book — saying that slamming her seems to be the Republicans’ sole topic of conversation.
The book, “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,” by former George W. Bush aide Peter Schweizer, is to be published next month and is generating a lot of buzz in conservative circles.
“We’re back into the political system and therefore I’ll be subjected to all kinds of distraction and attacks and I’m ready for that,” Clinton said during her first swing in the first-in-the-nation primary state since her campaign announcement.
“I know that that comes unfortunately with the territory. It is I think worth noting that the Republicans seem to be talking only about me. I don’t know what they’d talk about if I weren’t in the race,” she said.
The crowded GOP field had spent the past weekend in the state lobbing attacks against her.
The book asserts that foreign entities who donated to the Clinton Foundation and paid Bill Clinton big speaking fees received favors from Hillary Clinton’s State Department, according to The New York Times, which was given an advance copy.

The Keene round table at Whitney Brothers, a century-old company that makes wooden educational furniture for kids, mostly focused on economic issues.
Clinton spent time in the factory, surrounded by wooden toy ovens, talking about education, job training programs and public-private partnerships in response to concerns expressed by the company’s owner and workers about helping people gain useful skills.
The seven Whitney Brothers employees on the panel also focused on drugs.

I have been posting on FR for years about how these “non profit/tax exempt” entities are ripping off the American taxpayer. Just like the Carter Foundation the Clinton Foundation AKA The Bill Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation is a slush fund that is funded by people wanting access to taxpayer money.
Here is their 2013 990 filing. If you read it you will see someone being paid almost $500,000. For CHARITY work? This isn’t a charity! Also note all the money going to the global warming, er, CLIMATE CHANGE garbage!

The US needs to trash the nonprofit corporation laws in America and start from scratch. If the entity does not clothe, house or feed humans it should not be taxpayer subsidized. That includes the leftist green entities and the entities on the more conservative side like Judicial Watch who has racked in over $150,000,000 and has done very little for all that money.
I do not want a penny of taxpayer money being spent on these entities that push their own political agendas or are slush funds to enrich individuals and their families.
The reporting mechanisms are a joke too, if someone wishes to report a nonprofit their entire general ledger should be available to the public. ALL of their books should be open including all of their banking and credit card statements.
When I first started griping about nonprofits here on FR there were about 750,000. Today, about 10 years later that number has doubled. As I said above and have said many times here. If they do not FEED, CLOTHE or HOUSE humans they should pay taxes like any other business. And that is what these are, businesses. And yes, that includes the NRA!
I think we’re killing the Hillary candidacy too soon.
