A 16-year-old boy has admitted trying to buy a biological toxin that is 30 times more deadly than ricin from undercover police on the 'dark web'.
The teenager from Mossley, Greater Manchester, who cannot be named for legal reasons, wanted to obtain abrin online.
He was caught after an investigation was launched by the North West counter-terrorism unit in January.
Today he pleaded guilty to trying to buy the toxin at Manchester Youth Court.
He will be sentenced later this month for the offence, which is contrary to the Criminal Attempts Act 1981 and Section 1 of the Biological Weapons Act 1974.

I had never heard of this dark web and have no desire to even try and look for it. There is a massive problem here in the west with this generation and I noticed that there was not much information in the article either on why , how or what.

we used to go to games, maybe have a fight and do stupid pranks, now they are buying poison! At 16 I was going into the military, this idiot looks to buy poison, unbelievable.

I hear you about the simple pranks we used to pull, compared to this monster. The worst transgression that happened at our high school was one kid got pregnant, and one other kid brought a can of beer in his car to the school parking lot. That’s about it — and our school was huge — about a city block and a half from one end to the other.
