Any apple that does not oxidize should be a huge red flag.
The Bio techs are altering the DNA of an Apple.
Although ff you want tumors or cancer, then eat these unsafe apples right up.
Oh I know and the doctor is going to say WE HAVE NO IDEA how you got your cancer and tumors.

Look for the “Altered by Gene!” label.

I see no problem, get government out of the way and let the market decide.

Fine. If anyone wants to eat clean-looking tasteless, GMO apples, have at it.
Please just identify them as such so that I don’t have to spend my money on them.
Related: I remember when roses smelled good as well as looked good. When vegetables and fruit were high in nutrition, etc.

I gave up all apples years ago, when they stopped tasting real and became mushy in consistency. I don’t have a single clue how they can make apples worse. The wonders of science, I guess.

I'm lucky to live in a top apple producing state. Obviously the big growers are producing a lot of the crappy tasteless apples but I can go to a local orchard where the apples aren't bred for shipping.
Plus I have a good apple tree in my yard that I've brought back into production. I don't know what kind they are but they are nice clean great tasting apples.

Okay well eat them right up. My bet is someone got threatened, paid off or both. If you are interested in truth, then why don't you ask what is in the GMO? Answer: Glyphosate What is Glyphosate it's another word of Round Up. You know, the round up you put in your lawn to kill weeds and grass. So enjoy the taste....

Which will be shaped the size of just slightly larger than a golf ball for shipping purposes. The new apples will be permanently in an unripened state for extended shelf life {for the trip from China} & lacking any taste whatsoever.
It's just like the highly overrated Grainger County Tomatoes in my state. They are so hard you can play baseball with them and the are dry inside and never quite ripen even in the summer when shipped to stores in the same county.
I can remember a time not so long ago when fruit and vegetables actually had some taste to them. GMO and hybrids geared solely for shipping size and extended shelf life have destroyed it.

so! does this mean that after one eats this apple, and digests it, it will come out still looking like an apple?
I rather eat plastic.

My backyard squirrels give my Fujis and Asian pears two paws up.
I remember picking crab apples as a kid. Chokecherries too.

"...genetically engineered apples that are resistant to turning brown when sliced..." I guess spritzing them with dilute lemon juice is too much trouble for some people...

"Related: I remember when roses smelled good as well as looked good. When vegetables and fruit were high in nutrition, etc."When I moved Upstate NY, I started a vegetable garden. I was SHOCKED at how a home grown red cabbage tasted, or radishes! They had a bite that could bring tears to your eyes. The store stuff is so bland!
Peaches were small but oh so juicy and sweet!
I also have wild rose bushes. They smell fantastic. I wish their season lasted longer.

Exactly. Don’t like GMO apples, don’t buy them. Why force companies from innovating, giving more options, and making money for the shareholders?
