I’m totally good with using Fruit Fresh on Apple’s as God made them, among other things it adds vitamin C.

I like my food natural. We have 16 vintage apple trees on our 5 acres and we have enjoyed them for over 30 years. I kinda figure that God made apples the way He wanted them to be... I see no point in screwing around with this DNA altering.

But I might be crazy, because I have been thinking about trying Haggis. Perhaps is my Scots blood.

I keep telling all you folks that if you own or rent a house with a yard, you have to plant your own.
In So Cal I have 2 different types of tangerine, an avocado, a naval orange, a blood orange, a lemon, a tangelo, an English wallnut and 2 different types of apple that are warm weather adapted (forgot the 2 different types of apricot). Up north no citrus but I grow apples, cherries, pears, plums, prunes, peaches, nectarines, apricots, black wallnuts, pecans and that does not even include the house vegetable gardens and the barley field.
The Northern Ca. orchard is over 80 trees now and what I can’t use goes to the local food bank.
The whole thing keeps an old retired fart like me off the street corners and the taste is great. What they tasted like when I was a kid.

Oh this old country boy knows where to go find the good stuff man hasn’t altered yet. Plenty of Walnut and Mulberry trees on my place. I can hop in the pick up and in the late summer have all the wild Muscadine I wish. That and when ripened Persimmons, Paw Paws, a few remaining apples from trees on old homesteads long abandoned as well.

“I see no problem, get government out of the way and let the market decide.”

Yes.

Of course the manufacturer does have to show safety first.

What part of the equation, “you are feeding them poison” does not compute?

So getting people sick, giving them tumors and cancer is good?

If you want to eat it, then go for it. Do you think arsenic is good too???

But hey one thing for sure. You now can’t say “I didn’t know?”.

“Please just identify them as such so that I don’t have to spend my money on them.”

Hippy Whole Foods will have your overpriced apples.

I remember when roses smelled good as well as looked good.

There have always been roses that looked good and had little to no scent.

When vegetables and fruit were high in nutrition, etc.

They still are.

More now then in the past in fact.

“Within about 20 years they will be the only ones on the market maybe as soon as 10 years.”

Start an apple farm and sell good apples.

4) Leave your 29 hour a week WalMart job, and start growing your own food.

Can you prove it poison? NO you can’t. Can it be proven it is safe for everyone? No.

It is your emotions that rule you. What you think it is. IT is not a perfect system. But you have your choices and can make them. You do not have to make choices for others.

I DON’T WANT YOUR CHOICE OF PERFECT FOOD BUT NONE IS AVALAIBLE!

Go live in your perfect world. Idealism is for liberals. Conservatives should understand history and the big pictures.

YOU have choices, WHAT ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT? Go buy organic if you want that as your choice and leave the rest of us our choices. I reather like cheap food.

I repeat to you we have the best food system in the world and history. Read that slowly and let your lips move if that helps.

And if you can’t understand my reference to the healthcare system, again, let your lips more as you read it.

One thing I have learned here is that there are not many differences between liberals and conservatives.

“If you are interested in truth, then why don’t you ask what is in the GMO? Answer: Glyphosate What is Glyphosate it’s another word of Round Up. You know, the round up you put in your lawn to kill weeds and grass. So enjoy the taste.... “

Roundup ready means resistant to roundup not containing it.

“You are doing typical leftist scaremongering.”

And sounding like a complete idiot in the process, when they said it contained Roundup pretty much proved it.
