Paul Nungesser was found not responsible for sexually assaulting another student at Columbia University. The student who accused him, Emma Sulkowicz, has since began carrying a mattress around the university as part of an art project to protest a finding she claims was unfair.
Sulkowiczs activism earned her an invitation to President Obamas State of the Union address Tuesday night from Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y. When Nungesser heard of the invitation, he blasted the senator for rewarding Sulkowiczs attacks against him.
I am shocked to learn that Sen. Gillibrand is actively supporting Ms. Sulkowiczs defamation campaign against me by providing her with a public forum in which to broadcast her grave allegation, Nungesser told New York Magazine on Tuesday. By doing so, Sen. Gillibrand is participating in a harassment campaign against someone, who, for good reason, has been found innocent by all investigating bodies.
Nungesser reminded people that the university, after a seven-month long investigation, found him not responsible in 2013 even in the current atmosphere where colleges are encouraged to find students guilty to appease political interests. Nungesser also pointed out that he cooperated with police after Sulkowicz filed a report (after the university found him not responsible) and that prosecutors declined to pursue the case.

So this was case of “post coital regret” after totally consensual sex. Sweetie, just because you later regretted doing the guy doesn’t make it OK for you to claim rape. Making good decisions comes from wisdom. Wisdom comes from making bad decisions and learning from them. Learn from it, lady and don’t blame somebody else for your mistake.

Yes, but it the story COULD be true somewhere else possibly.
That’s all that matters to twits like Gillibrand.
You know, I agree with you wholeheartedly. Not that that’s a surprise, but if a leading university can’t find evidence of rape, then there certainly isn’t any as we know that the universities jump to accessions of rape and findings of guilt.
Sucker bet.
“So she carried her mattress into the SOTU address?”
Actually, she let Michelle Obama wear it.
...by providing her with a public forum... Sen. Gillibrand is participating in a harassment campaign against someone, who, for good reason, has been found innocent by all investigating bodies.
Lawsuit time..............................
They are protected pretty much all year. They just have to say they are traveling to or from Congress.
Careful now, the double entendre here is not just funny but is probably the very sincere wish of 75% of American men over the age of 35. There is not another woman in the US Senate who would qualify.
Gosh. That is so ... poignant ... meaningful ... powerful.
All rolled up and tucked under her skirt?
Bitches of a feather flock together.
Barry is welcomed into the flock.
Huh...I’m not sure, but wasn’t there a similar case like this that happened recently at FSU?
Actually, she let Michelle Obama wear it.
She should have taken the lumps out first...
Have dust mites, will travel.
Not to mention the use of the word “knickers” is a form of microaggression!

Gillibrand is a privledges gal who earned nothing and accomplished nothing. She has ony air between her ears. I’ll bet she runs for NYS Governor and wins and runs for President and wins in 8-12 years.
Couldn't this be construed as entrapment???
According to feminist activists, date rape occurs on about 25% of all student dates. They cite a study for that figure. However, the Obama DOJ did a study and came up with a figure of less than 1%.
Knowing the Columbia student group somewhat, I find it sorta unbelievable that this nerdy bunch would dare to commit rape in those numbers.
I don’t see how a bunch of nerdy guys who are presumed to have a high percentage that are serial rapists can get a date anyway.
She’s “Fluking”.
