Her "long game" just got appreciatively shorter.

Her long game includes supporting Bonehead who finances the current tyranny.

I’m not shocked. Jodi Hice and Barry Loudermilk from GA both did the same thing.

In addition to being corrupt, she’s stupid if she thinks folks will buy THAT line of BS.

“There will be a time and a place for me to stand as a lone voice of dissension, but the vote for the speaker, is not that place,”

Well, you know who is supposed to make that decision? The voters, not you. You are there to represent them, and if they want you to make a stand, you do it, even if you think it is unwise.

Otherwise, you should be tossed out just like anyone else who thinks they know better than their constituents.

I’m absolutely disgusted with these republicans. How did they not know 60% to 75% (depending on survey) of republicans polled wanted Speaker Boehner gone from his leadership position?

He should have been ousted because he represents the type of government leadership that Americans are getting so fed up with and voted these people in to come in and challenge them. They, and people like Mia Love, have already failed us. I get so tired of the ruler mentality in Washington and to hell with being our representatives. The culture in DC is so damned corrupt and they don’t even care what the American people want, they’ll do exactly the opposite to spite us.

Now, like a good little corrupt tyrant, Boehner is punishing those that opposed him. We the People, my ass anymore, it a government, for the government, and the people that support big government. We the People have no representation anymore.

“There were no qualified or notable campaigns for speaker within the Republican Party other than John Boehner,” Love said. “Casting a vote for a candidate who has not actively campaigned and does not have the support to be speaker is an indirect vote for Nancy Pelosi, and I will not vote for Nancy Pelosi.”

That's extremely suspicious! It's almost word for word what Kevin Yoder KS representative said on his facebook. Somebody told them to say that.

Good thing is all reps in KS are getting SLAMMED on facebook - except Huelskamp - he the golden boy for sticking up for his principles.

Abject BS. Does anyone believe that she believes this?

I’d bet the house that she got told - like the rest of them - vote for Boehner or never be heard from again. She did the math and she caved.

Wow. I don't know if she's ignorant, lying, or both. In any case, she's one of the bigger disappointments amongst the defectors.

Because as an inbound freshman congresswoman she is now one of the least powerful people in the country and if she wants her time in congress to mean anything certain pipers must be paid. It’s an ugly system in DC, one that is specifically designed to crush rebellion.

She sounds just like the delusional loony GOPe RINO libs on this site who constantly tell us we have to vote for republicans or else we’re voting for — Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc.

If she didn’t know who to vote for, she could have voted present. But then I guess, in her mind, following the devil is better than standing on the sidelines.

Potomac Fever hits hard and fast on many of the noob politicians.

They are easily enamored by the glitz and glitter and lose direction.

DISAGREE and it looks like a lot of Reps are trying on that fig leaf.

Of course in a Boehner vs Pelosi one-on-one, we’d take the crying fool over the stone-faced witch. But forcing it to a second ballot was the real aim. Just like Øbama’s inexplicable way of negotiating, giving all up front and then looking for concessions, Mia bailed out too soon and there was no extraction of concessions from Bonehead. Sure enough, he is laying on the payback stick to those disloyal to him while being loyal to their constituents (God Bless you, Congressman Posey).

She has a point in that the challenge to Boner was not well done. In fact it was rather haphazard.

Maybe ALL the spineless SOB's, worried about themselves needs to start reading the works of E. E. Hale.

Of course a good portion of them could be set to sea and NEVER be missed again.

In one respect she may be right

There is ABSOLUTELY NO LEADERSHIP anywhere to be found.

Show me a Democrat or a Republican with LEADERSHIP ability.

I submit that IF there were.. then they would be attempting to LEAD.

All I see is a One Party system running a non-stop version of Kabuki theater.

I was p*ssed, too - but I see her point. We have the same situation here in WI with newly elected Glenn Grothman.

I’m glad she explained - still waiting for Glenn to clear that up as well.

We DO need players that can go the distance. It’s an uphill battle, full of landmines placed by the Socialists. It ain’t gonna be pretty, it ain’t gonna be fun, but it’s time to at least win a BATTLE once in a while, let alone the entire WAR that’s been waged against America by the Socialists.

I’m pretty sure 0bama has a LOT of horror in store for us these next 2 years. At least we have a few more players in place. *SHRUG*
