Warning: A Vote for Jeb (or Christie or Romney or Rubio, etc.) is a vote for Hillary

_____________________________________________

Blah, blah, blah.

Someone (me, maybe) will counter that by saying NOT VOTING for Jeb (or Christie or Romney or Rubio, etc.) is a vote for Hillary.

Absolutely.

As for Jeb, I’ll vote third party in the general if he is nominated. Even Christie and Romney look good next to him.

So all the "pragmatic" conservatives who bit the bullet and voted for RINOs once again in November 2014 got their reward with the Republican votes for Obama

Lie #1. In the general election, conservatives stayed home, they didn't vote for Obama. Try to at least start your thread with a smidgeon of integrity.

If a RINO is the gop candidate, I will double the effectiveness of my vote, hold my nose and vote for the dim.

Now, with the recent Boehner/McConnell betrayals, is the time for the Tea Party to fight back HARD!

Burn the gop to the ground, it is the party of Reagan no longer. Allow something productive to grow from the ashes.

Well, I think reality is that anyone who votes for a RINO in the 2016 primaries, or in the general election, is voting for Hillary (or Warren or whomever the Democrats choose). Plain and simple.

Lie #2. If you vote for a republican in the general election, it is not a vote for the democratic candidate.

Why? Because every self-respecting conservative will refuse to vote for a RINO presidential candidate in 2016, either in the primary or the general election

Although I agree with the rest of your post regarding getting a conservative elected in the primaries, this is still not true. After getting Obama twice by not voting for the GOPe candidate, conservatives should have learned their lesson and regardless of who the republican candidate is, every conservative needs to get behind whoever wins the nomination, even if they are not the second coming of Ronald Reagan.

Conservatives care to their core for our republic.

The GOPE couldn't care less.

The GOPE wing of the Uniparty is quite ambivalent if the Beast or Lying Bull wins in 2016. Their perks, honors and future lobbying gigs will remain intact.

FoxNews had one of their polster/commentators on this morning. He said that, if Jeb doesn’t run, Hillary won’t; and if Hillary doesn’t run, Jeb won’t.

He tried to say that they are basically the same, complement each other, and need each other.

==

Not sure what he was trying to say, but even the host was sort of shaking her head at that.

As mentioned in related threads, please consider the following. If patriots were to peacefully force the corrupt federal government to surrender 10th Amendment-protected state powers which it has stolen from the states back to the states, then citizens would lose interest in who is in the Oval Office anyway imo.

The way I see it is if a Rino wins the primary, then we conservatives have failed, we will see a repeat of 2012, wherein all the conservatives in the primary were beat up by conservatives, until the last man standing was a Rino.

We need to get behind a conservative for 2016 NOW; the best all around conservative now is Cruz, he will run and if we get him the momentem now, many wannabe’s will just fall under his weight, there was a lot of money and resources wasted in 2012 by wannabe candidates used primarily to assault one another, you can bet the dems will sooner rather than later get behind one candidate, we need to select our weapon of choice keep our powder dry, build our war chest and plan our attack, stand behind Cruz no matter what phony accusations the enemy may throw at him, you can bet the dems will stand behind theirs and argue that all the true facts about their candidate are in fact false or just plain don’t matter.

We conservatives need to reject the false narrative about money and media bias and voting fraud will defeat us, if we; all of us are actively engaged we can defeat those narratives and enjoy a sweeping victory like never before imagined.

In the primaries, agreed.

In the general, strongly disagreed.

We have elected 2 Bush presidents.

Each one oversaw a tremendous growth in a Federal spending, expansion of debt, and great solidification of oligarchical rule. Each one started his term with all branches of the government and each ended his term by turning over all branches of the government to the Democrats.

Please explain to me why Hilary would be worse than that.

Look, you are DEAD RIGHT about the primaries. And confused about human nature in the general.* BUT THE PRIMARIES DETERMINE THE GENERAL. We need to make sure NOT to vote for any GOPe in the primary.

How to do that? Many, many states have open primaries. With only hillary on the other side, DEMS will want to cross over and vote in the R primaries. The RNC is too stupid to close all primaries, and there is our problem.

The only way to get a conservative in the general is to

1. Close all primaries to pubs only (though dems could easily change parties to vote in them)

2. Somehow reach all low info R voters to explain the truths about the candidates - something powerful like the swift boat phenomenon, which FR had some hand in helping spread, and

3. MOST IMPORTANT: the RNC must REFUSE to do debates with only liberal moderators. There must be as many clear cut conservative moderators as liberal moderators in the debate season. I don’t care if they share moderation or just take on different debates. There should be a Mark Levin or a Walter Williams moderated debate. Why the HELL would the Republican Party let republican debates be wholly controlled by their “enemies,” who would then shape the lines of questioning to suit their own needs?

* it is deep within decent people’s nature to try and help their country by voting for their opinion of best candidate for the job. Most right of center people voting in the general presidential election will choose to vote the GOPe over the Dem. don’t pretend you don’t understand that.
