CENTRAL, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A soldier returning home for the holidays to see his wife and newborn baby in Central is being kicked out of his wife's apartment after the landlord said he is overstaying the time allowed for visitors.
Sergeant William Bolt is stationed in Missouri, but his wife has been in Central. She gave birth to their daughter two weeks ago.
Bolt said the landlord at The Groves apartment complex in Central told him he had overstayed, saying visitors are not allowed to stay in the apartments past seven days, per the agreement signed by Bolt's wife, Lily. [snip]

The baby’s name is not on the lease either.
The landlord is a piece of dog shiite. There is nothing else to say about someone like that. The soldier should ignore this bastard and let him to court. Christmas time evictions just don’t happen. And Yes I agree he is likely an America hating Democrat.

If Chuck is just the apartment manager and not the owner, I suspect that Chuck will be getting evicted shortly.
On one hand I feel the same way. OTOH, the lefties are so full of irrational hate that I have to believe this may also be the whole story. Be nice if there were in depth followups to stories such as this. Oh, wait, I forgot, that would be journalism.
And if the landlord can simply double the tenant's rent on short notice like this, then clearly there must be a lot of people clamoring to live in this place.
The landlord’s name was identified as “Chuck” so hardly the name of someone most people would connect with “military haters” (e.g., Mohammed, Mohamhead, Mohammad, etc.)
I’ll bet she’s on Section 8.
Stupid landlord! IF they are married, then he is a protected class under the Federal if not the State FHA. You can not discriminate for “familia”. Nice lawsuit.
The rules are in order. If he didn’t have the rule, there might be 10 or 15 asian students living in the apartment

Depends on how/why she got that apartment in the first place. I can see certain aspects of “Section 8” that would affect this.
Sounds like Chuck would be the perfect guy to run an HOA.

Then, I turned a corner and this old guy who looked to be a WWII vet approached and screamed at me to get the hell out because I wasn't supposed to be soliciting in an apartment complex.
I began to have a whole new respect for people who look like hippies.
