GotNews.com’s Ferguson police sources are confirming that they are grateful for the support of a libertarian militia group.
“I was wondering when volunteer militia would finally show up,” said a well-placed law enforcement source.
“The Oathkeepers started standing watch from Ferguson rooftops on Tuesday since Governor Nixon abdicated his duties Monday.”
The officers describe being overwhelmed by the mob and under-supported by state and federal authorities.
“Thank God for them.”

Don't flush your brains out your mouth about rights and free speech, then attempt to use that same mouth to deny the KKK or the Black Panthers a voice.
I detest both these groups, but you know what, if you're going to go to this extent to trash the police for shutting down voices in the early days, don't wax rhapsodic about shutting down the KKK and the Black Panthers voices.

Every group has a right to have their voice heard. The moment one act of rioting takes place, the event is over. PERIOD!

Well there was Guv Nixon's non-action with the Nat Guard, but he was on the phone all nite Monday with Muslim Brotherhood and Top Obama Adviser Valerie Jarrett.

As well meaning as they may have been, you can’t have these guys in to participate in lethal force situations.
Even if their actions were as pure as the driven snow, these guys would be ripped to shreds in court.
Asking them to leave was for their own good, as much as anything else.

I agree. When reading the first reports, it made me feel rather good too.
Then reality sets in and you have to realize what the problems would be with it.
Outside police and militia who came in after Katrina were the WORST. They were looting and harassing residents, much as were many of the local police that stayed on. The National Guard were the only force that established law and order.

Being very confused. One account is that the police wanted the “protectors” to quit. The other is they welcome them.
Finally some heroes in all this mess.
Why is it that if a reporter on a liberal news network were to call Blacks ‘’a bunch of violent criminal maniacs,’’ he’d be attacked as a racist and probably never work in journalism again — yet when liberal networks spend days SHOWING Blacks unmistakably acting like a bunch of violent criminal maniacs, as they have during the past week in Ferguson, that’s not considered racism?
If the Ku Klux Klan ran CNN, could it have destroyed the reputation of Black Americans more thoroughly over the past week than the actual liberal CNN has done by presenting 24/7 coverage of Blacks in the worst possible light looting and destroying properties from one end of Ferguson to the other?

Gov Nixon called out the Nat’l Guard, then Valarie Jarrett talked to him on the phone, described as “all night,” on Monday when the Guard weren't deployed.
Every one wondered why, and that explains it in my mind.
The Police Chief and the other official who wanted the Guard there said they couldn't get Nixon to answer his phone or communicate with them at all for days.
When a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist supporter like ValJar has your ear you have to obey.
