GOPe: Let's Have It Out. Will You Support Cruz?
Self | 10/02/2014 | Uncle Miltie

Posted on 10/02/2014 12:09:44 PM PDT by Uncle Miltie

The GOPe wing of Free Republic requires that the Conservative wing of Free Republic swallow our distaste for their Democrat-Lite Karl Rove Approved (TM) candidates in order to win seats labeled (R) at the expense of conservative principle.

Okay, let's put the shoe on the other foot: If Ted Cruz is winning 45% of the Republican vote in early primaries, will you require your Karl Rove Approved (TM) candidate withdraw and unreservedly throw your support behind the winning candidate Ted Cruz?

Slightly differently stated, are you primarily interested in beating Democrats or Conservatism?

Just goes to show that even within FR there is an element who believe in party above all else...hence my tagline.

And don’t forget the “Dumb” math from yesterday either.

Why, its a mathematical FACT that RINO’s are better than democrats. So There!

Yep, I saw that.

Did he ever hit you with his purse, though?

Which explains why so many commenters here are STILL defending the last Republican nominee, whose record in office is indistinguishable from any liberal Democrat's.

I think it's a right wing harmonic of liberal insanity.

Yep. A liberal with an R on his sleeve is far preferable to any lib with a D on his sleeve.

Makes sense, don't it? /s

Pretty much went silent with me after he confessed his orientation. I think he realized he slit his own throat.

But it just proves my point that FR is lousy with liberals out to destroy conservatism. It has to be stopped otherwise why exactly are any of us here/on the right at all? We cannot fight the greater battle until we clean up our own house. And that means we have to take these idiots to task every time they mouth the GOPe line.

EVERY time.

Well, he certainly has them to play as a calling card. No doubt there. I agree that they gave him is power. I don’t know how much they back his play now, but I don’t find it difficult to believe they still think he’s tops.

As for voting for a Democrat, under the right circumstances I could, but it would have to be a clean one. And in today’s environment, could you be a Democrat?

I’ll tell you right now, I consider the whole party to be a traitorous organization with a devout radical muslim enabler at the helm.

The “R” is the Race card for liberal GOPe Republicans. Pull it out and POOF! Better than a dem! No matter what!

Even though their policies are twins.

Seems...familiar somehow...

No, I meant went silent ‘with me’ as in he gave up fighting with me.

I am wholly unsurprised that he kept it up otherwise though.

Then again after that marathon last night he may have posted to me again and I just flat don’t remember. It was a mind numbing experience dealing with that much idiocy and no lightning.

If a staunch conservative were to capture the nomination, virtually 100% of registered Republicans would give them their vote.

It is SO much more than that. A proper Reaganite Conservative Will cause all Conservatives to come out of the woodwork. SOOO much more than Republicans could ever field.

At the Federal level never, but we are talking Texas and it is a state election not Federal. So yeah I will vote Rat in the hopes of keeping a Bush from being elected. Bushes are as bad, if not worse, than Rats.

Jeb vrs Hill just might tempt me to vote Hill, however I would resist and vote 3rd party.

I agree that the majority would. However look back at Reagan. The same mentality at work here promoting Rove’s guys fought tooth and nail to derail his nomination and then fought him in office.

I tend to think the modern version here today that condemns principle and promotes anarchy so strongly (No matter what are words that carry a specific meaning) would NOT cast their lot with Cruz or any other conservative. And actively undermine them.

Notice the same names have a PDS streak a mile wide? Not all of course but most.

90+ posts in and naught but one of the g.o.p.e. hecklers will admit any stance whatsoever.

What does that tell you about them?

I’m not trying to be be argumentative or hard on you. I understand where you are coming from and I’m not going to fault you.

I do like to touch on the premise of even local Democrats having to be compromised morally to a single man or woman, if they can remain in the party with a traitor at the helm.

I simply couldn’t do it, even to vote, let alone to hold office.

That they’re consistent. They hate the idea of principle so thoroughly that they display none of them. they won’t even back their own play.

So they are what I said on the other thread

To: Kaosinla

That pretty well sums it up. These people are every bit the enemy of the ‘constipation’ as their mockery of it and those of us who believe it has value.

But lets assume for the sake of it that it was a spell correction error. They want to win above all else. Principle is evil because they mock it whenever they can. They put their conservatism on like underpants (magic underpants?) and cast them aside whenever they ‘feel’ that it impedes their ‘win’.

What good is a win with a liberal? They don’t care because they mock principle. One win is as good as another. They claim to be right wing but 2 years from a general, they pave the way for a lib. Again. None of these frauds once in this thread even try to fight for conservatism. They already decided that WHEN the evil principled conservative loses, they simply cast aside their magic underwear and vote liberal R for the win. Again. But they win nothing at all.

Does it matter that liberal R is every bit as liberal as Liberal D ?

No, because the win is what matters and principle is evil/people sticking to it hate America. Thats their own words over hundreds of threads like this one.

So they are as I said. Every bit the enemy as a liberal Democrat because provably, time and again, they say principle is bad and winning is everything. That’s not the America the founders intended, nor countless lives were given to preserve.

Oh and the last time I brought that point up? You guessed it. they mocked the very idea as dramatic posturing. But it is true. Provably so.

At this point, Cruz is our only hope!

Jesus Christ is our only hope.

I happen to hold the opinion that Ted Cruz is His servant ... and that's a good thing.

Another thing I’ve noticed...

Even though they’re wracked with concern over the thought of a Cruz candidacy, if you challenge them to name someone they’d prefer over Cruz, it’s almost impossible to get an answer from them.
