Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

Rick Santorum is a nobody, he was thrown out office in 2006 in a loss worse than Christine O’Donnell’s loss, and he was the sitting Senator, not a first timer.

How does this guy Romney, Specter, supporting idiot hold on?

The "Gay Marriage Advocate Lawyer's" plan is easy -- easy -- easy ---

The Sodomites don't need to spend all that $$$ on fifty-seven (57) individual state referendums ...

They just need to find eight (8) corrupt, blackmailable Federal District judges ... into whose courts they will "steer" the lawsuits into.

"The will of the American people" be DAMNED ...

This is precisely "why" the Democrats, MSM, Karl Rove and Mitt Romney "pooped their pants" (for the children in the audience) ...

when Newt Gingrich suggested that we (in the 21st century) follow Thomas Jefferson's and James Madison's 1800 example ...

with a "constitutionally approved" FIRING OF CORRUPT FEDERAL JUDGES.

============= Today's American Judicial History Lesson ==============

The Democratic-Republicans (originally called anti-Federalists) held the majority in Congress under the new Jefferson administration, and soon repealed the Judiciary Act, effectively terminating the new judges to prevent the Federalists from gaining more control of the judiciary.

This was the only way Congress could legitimately get rid of Article III federal judges, who are entitled to serve lifetime commissions unless they commit impeachable offenses.

The old Congress passed another act during its lame duck session, The Organic Act of the District of Columbia of 1801, which established Washington, DC, as an independent federal territory.

One provision of the legislation was that President Adams could appoint an unspecified number of justices of the peace, low-level judicial workers, to serve the needs of the newly incorporated District of Columbia.

Two days before leaving office, President Adams nominated 42 Federalists to fill these positions (these men later became known as the "Midnight Judges").

The Senate approved the nominations the day before Adams' administration ended, and John Marshall, then Secretary of State (and Supreme Court Chief Justice, as of February 1801) stayed late recording and sealing the commissions.

Unfortunately, he was unable to deliver them before Thomas Jefferson took office.

Jefferson found the undelivered commissions sitting on a desk in the Secretary of State's office, and decided 42 justices of the peace was entirely too many.

He immediately eliminated twelve positions, then appointed members of his own party to five of the remaining thirty judgeships.

Four of the seventeen men who lost their opportunities filed suit in the US Supreme Court in an effort to compel Secretary of State James Madison to deliver their commissions so they could take office. This lead to the landmark case Marbury v. Madison, (1803).

In my experience, when you are trying soooooooo hard to make something “attractive” to me, you already are trying too hard. It really should sell itself, whatever it is you are peddling. Why most of us haven’t marched on Washington is because we really don’t want them to “DO” any MORE for us, like the parasite chattering class demands. In fact, we want them to DO about 90% LESS. I just want to be LEFT ALONE as the Founding Fathers intended — to pursue my own happiness. Constitutionally limited govt. makes me happy. There is NO WAY to make the Republican party attractive to both the Big Govt. RINOs and people like me.

The idea of “Unifying the Party” is BS. It is how they destroyed the party. The Party is to be about a set of good values(which they already had at one point). Who ever chooses to believe in those values joins. The party must remain faithful to those values.

Unifying the party = GOPe rule

The Republican party needs to be rebuilt on principals it once stood for...that means all these RINO’s need to get back to its platform and principals. The party needs a true leader who speaks to them and doesn’t shrink...the RINO’s can either get on board or leave, but don’t ask us to throw away our values just for this unity bullcrap tripe coming from faux conservatives and mealy mouthed guys like Reince.

Majority Leader Eric Cantor is infected with the cancer of BOEHNERISM.

An always present symptom of BOEHNERISM is that the infected Republican Politician ALWAYS Caves-In to whatever any Democrat Politician wants.

Replacing anyone in the US House Leadership who is terminally infected with the cancer of BOEHNERISM, in the words of President Ronald Reagan: “- - - wouldn’t make any sense at all.”
