I”m not real happy that folks dumb enough to think Obama Care was a good idea are reproducing.

I was like, ‘Oh, here’s the answer! This is simple!’” he told NPR.

Yet another case of someone who was greedy or stupid (or both) thinking that he and his family could get "free", premium healthcare paid for by "the rich," and now waking up to the reality of government healthcare.

Given their frustrations with finding a doctor who would accept Obamacare insurance, the Robinsons dropped their plan and decided to pay $4,000 for a midwife and a home delivery instead, an option they previously rejected. NPR reported that the Robinsons paid for the birth of their child in April out of pocket, but filed for reimbursement afterward through a Christian-based cost-sharing plan.

Dropped their Obamacare plan? They'd better keep an eye on their checkbook, or whatever they used to make the monthly payments. Welcome to the Hotel California, Rachel!

It’s sad that good people are getting screwed. But it’s funny as hell that the liberals who wanted this and still love obama are getting screwed.

“Some would just come right out and say, ‘We don’t take Obamacare,’”

Give it a little time. Obammy will fix that with another EO.

Well, beggars can’t be choosers. If their plan only has rotating doctors, then that’s what she will have. Obummer’’s “change” again.

” but the doctors rotated and Rachel wanted a relationship with only one physician.”

Well, you don’t get to decide, sweetie. The government tells you what you can have now.

Given their frustrations with finding a doctor who would accept Obamacare insurance, the Robinsons dropped their plan and decided to pay $4,000 for a midwife and a home delivery instead .....

**********************************

Let’s see ... $375/month x 12 = $4,500 .... $500 more in just premium cost than the cost of the midwife/home delivery .... wonder what their deductibles were?

How many “Obamacare” signups have done the same thing when they find out insurance isn’t the same as medical access/care? I’m sure it’s a whole lot more than being reported.

You are not going to be allowed to do that.

“We’re so happy with where we are now, but this is not OK. And I’m extremely confident that, that’s not what the architects of this plan had in mind,” Nick told NPR.

I wonder if their child will be stupid too!?!

“I was like, ‘Oh, here’s the answer! This is simple!’” he told NPR. “‘It’s a cheaper insurance plan, there’s no pre-existing condition stuff.’”

No, the answer is to pay for your own medical expenses instead of looking for a free ride off everyone else. I paid for two kids out of pocket without insurance. I never dreamed of forcing someone else to pay for it.

The free market is the best solution, but even Republicans now seem more inclined to tweak Obamacare rather than unravel the market distortions created by government meddling in the first place.

For example, all I want is catastrophic coverage. Give me a really low premium and cover me so that I’m not wiped out by a health emergency. Let me pay cash for everything else—preventive care, routine visits, etc. Ah! We can’t allow that, because Ms. Julia wants government (essentially other taxpayers) to cover everything, even her birth control, AND she wants it free, too.

So it’s the doctors and the hostpitals fault. Not the crappy, over-expensive comie-care. Nope.

You don’t get a dedicated doctor in ANY HMO.. beyond at best a PCP who at the end of the day acts as the gatekeeper for any other health care.... have to ask their permission to see anyone besides them in most HMOs.

Nick and Rachel Robinson welcome their son Cash, who was born in a midwife's birthing pool.

And so they dropped their new plan; they just stopped paying the premium.

The baby is a healthy boy named Cash. Nick says that's for Johnny Cash, whom they both love — and not for the midwife's fee.

“How could this not be working? The United States government has set this up. It’s this whole big deal; there are commercials everywhere saying we need to use this. And they’re just saying, ‘No, no, no.’
