Given their frustrations with finding a doctor who would accept Obamacare insurance, the Robinsons dropped their plan and decided to pay $4,000 for a midwife and a home delivery instead .....

**********************************

Let’s see ... $375/month x 12 = $4,500 .... $500 more in just premium cost than the cost of the midwife/home delivery .... wonder what their deductibles were?

How many “Obamacare” signups have done the same thing when they find out insurance isn’t the same as medical access/care? I’m sure it’s a whole lot more than being reported.

THe midwife option works under many if not most circumstances. If there’s a problem in delivery, they’d need a NICU and possibly more. Big gamble.
