2 whole days “off”, and more work than working AT work. d:o) I know how that goes.

I do know about the stress levels. Good luck in your search for a new assistant. May your search be short and fruitful.

My boss is retiring and they told us today that the new Payroll Manager has been hired. Finally some time to train with the old and new together (instead of passing on the way out)...hopefully for a couple weeks. It is so strange to have the bosses boss care about our department. He said he told the new lady that we were a well functioning unit and not to mess it up. Time will tell.

Today was gorgeous. Took off from work to Passover-clean, but I had to fight the urge to go to the park. (Hate to clean, period — will find any excuse.)
