Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush discussing immigration reform on Fox News this Sunday:
"I'm going to say this and it will be on tape, and so be it. The way I look at this is someone who comes to our country because they couldn't come legally, they come to our country because their family's dad who loves their children was worried that their children didn't have food on the table, and they wanted to make sure their family was intact. And they crossed the border because they had no other means to work to be able to provide for their family. Yes, they broke the law, but it's not a felony. it's kind of -- it's a -- it's an act of love. It's an act of commitment to your family. I honestly think that's a different kind of crime that should be, there should be a price paid, but it shouldn't be -- it shouldn't rile people up that people are actually coming to this country to provide for their families. And the idea that we're not going to fix this but with with comprehensive reform ends up trapping these people, when they could make a great contribution for their own their families but also for us.
So I think we need to get beyond the harsh political rhetoric to a better place. The great number of people who come to this country come because they have no opportunities in other places. They may love their country, but they come here because they want to provide for their families. And they can make a contribution to our country if we actually organized ourselves in a better way."

Sadly I must agree. However, this whole idea of voting will be all set by the elites to whom THEY want as prez. The people only get the choice of the two losers that they have established. Now, does anyone believe that if the (R)s took over CONgress that Obamacare would be repealed? The whole system is BS.

“this is why Jeb is kissing so many illegal alien ass, for the votes”
And he’ll still not get the Mexicans’ votes’ GOP candidates never do. When will they learn?
Those that I worked with recently in Portland were hired by a tree farm...very hard work. They were decent people and did not do all those things that you mentioned. Actually, many businesses want them be wise they work their asses off for lower wages. That is not a good thing and of course they broke the law vetting in here illegally...but they are not often times, the villains that you are portraying. That is a fact. Sometimes, yes, they are. Often times, not.
Bttt
that's an act of love?
well gracious...by that kind of logic Putin is just loving his Russian family by taking Crimea and possibly Ukraine.
No way will I vote for Jeb Bush if this is his mindset.
To bad Jeb can’t fathom embracing the Constitution and defending it as an act of love. Why would anyone vote for him, we already have an anti Constitutionalist in the White House that refuses to defend Americas laws and people from invaders, if we wanted another one we could just vote for shrillary.
“Honest” workers apply in their own country for this little thing called a “green card”-a work permit-before they come here. Not to do so is DIShonest, no matter what else that person may be-and the employer who hires them is an even worse lawbreaker...
Bad enough he’s named Bush after the D propaganda media has destroyed that “brand name.” Worse: his immigration policy when there are so many millions of Americans without jobs. Even krappier yet: he dresses his pro- amnesty policy in Gobbelsian platitudes like “ love.” Sorry, Jeb , but if there’s ever a Time to grant amnesty to millions of illegals it’s not now during the Great Obama Depression.
Watch as millions of voters stay home just like they did the last two elections. And watch for similar results too.
Similar analogy could be made for someone going into a convenience store and robbing it.
It was to feed the chiiiiiiiiiiiiildreeeeeeeen!!!!!
Illegal is illegal, except ....
Jeb, you ignorant slut
We could have probably freed mexico from its corrupt government but, Noooo, we have already been bled dry by Bush policies so, No!
Build a fence and send back every illegal that rears their parasitic head.
One thing we need to do is stop making babies American citizens just because the pop out of a hole on this side of the border.
If Jeb and Hillary are the nominees, it better become painfully clear to everyone that there is no 'voting our way out of this'.
I am afraid we are beyond this point already based on the last two elections, whether by voter fraud or an uninformed electorate it really doesn't matter.
Keeping Stay-Puft Jeb out of office is an act of love.
I really hate this pandering, traitorous putz ;/
Oh-I stand corrected, then-F you and the RINO you rode in on, Jeb Bush...
Yes, and then they come up with the money, buy loads of crap from Ross Dress for Less etc. go back to Mexico, pay a little mordida so no duty and sell for profit. Watched it for years!
Mexico is just as racist as Apartheid-era South Africa.
A tiny European-Elite ruling over millions of indigenous people. Seriously, look at all of the previous Presidents of Mexico, all Lilly-White as it gets. Of course they want to send as many non-White to the EE.UU. as possible. Keeps them from having their heads placed on pikes.
Legal isn’t an answer either.
Asians, Indians voted mostly for Obama
Mexicans and South Americans voted for Obama
All these visa for programming jobs, and yet there are Americans aplenty for these jobs, but of course they Americans get paid more, and our politicians are eager for Bill Gates’s money. We are losing a generation of Americans who can’t get jobs because their own politicians don’t care about the young adults.
Uh.....why isn’t the Mexican government being held responsible for it’s citizens?
AND if the US is expected to care for Mexican citizens, we might as well invade the place and make it part of the US.
ALSO, if the Bush family wants these people in our country, let THEM foot the bill!
