A new Westmoreland grocery isn't even open yet and already its owner has created a controversy with statements she made online. But the owner told KGW Thursday she wants to make amends.
In about one week Chauncy Childs plans to open her natural grocer on Southeast Milwaukie Avenue. But after a series of postings she made on her Facebook page, she now finds herself at the often dangerous intersection where social media and gay rights meet.
The Moreland Farmer's Pantry will offer fresh produce, raw milk and foods that are free of genetic engineering.
Westmoreland resident Sean O’Riordan was looking forward to the store opening. But his neighbors started expressing concern to him.
“People were then starting to say, ‘Did you see the owner’s Facebook page?” O’Riordan said.
O'Riordan didn't like the store owner's posts regarding gay people and same sex marriage. For him it's very personal. He lost his gay brother to AIDS.

I find it strange that homos who routinely engage in very dangerous behavior health wise even care about eating healthy.

That’s because of two related things:
1. They worship the body. Their entire identity is tied up in the sexual behavior they prefer, so it only follows that they are obsessed with the instrument of that behavior.
We see the same thing in self-centered, shallow, promiscuous heterosexuals as well. It is multiplied in homosexuals because of identity being so closely linked to sexual urges and preferences.
2. They wish to offset the unhealthier aspects of their behavior. Even if they don’t consciously acknowledge it, deep down they know what they do is harmful to their bodies. The following of every health food fad is an attempt to undo the harm done to their bodies.

A child molester is not necessarily a pedophile.
Pedophilia or paedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children, generally age 11 years or younger;
A gay man who has sex with a 15 year old boy is a child molester, but not a pedophile. There are LOTS of gay men who will have sex with a teenage boy, but will also have sex with adult men when teenage boys are unavailable. Just like there are lots of straight men who would happily have sex with 16 year old girls.
I would also add, that per the definition, somebody who had sex with adults most of the time, but molested 10 year olds when the opportunity presented itself, would also not be considered a pedophile, because he did not have a “primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children”.

I never joined. People tell me I should. My whole family is on there, it would be easier to stay in touch with them. But I’m reluctant.
I’d be extremely loathe to make online comments under my own name. Employers look up their people and potential hires, people have been fired over pictures they’re posted and comments they’ve made.
Every once in a while youtube asks me if I wouldn’t like to change my google/youtube screen name to my actual name, I say no and it says “we’ll ask again later”. Don’t those goddamn idiots realize the benefits of anonymity? It allows you to be completely honest without fear of real life reprisals.

The whole thing is a pile of bullsh*t. It’s there to show off that someone’s on a vacation or they got a new piece of jewelry. Or the blithering fools that can’t decide if they should have coffee or tea to drink. It a platform for “attention whoring”, period.
