Voting records are raising questions amid an investigation into the discovery of a womans mummified body in the garage of a foreclosed metro Detroit home.
The body found last Wednesday in Pontiac is that of Pia Farrenkopf according to her sister, Paula Logan. Authorities investigating the case havent released her name, but they have said that the woman apparently died in 2008 at the age of 49.
According to a report in the Detroit Free Press, records show Farrenkopf as voting in the November 2010 gubernatorial election. Officials say, however, that it may represent an administrative error. Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard says the information must be checked out.
Farrenkopfs body was found March 5 in the back seat of her Jeep Liberty, parked in the attached garage of her home in the 1600 block of Savanna, near Walton Boulevard and Silver Lake Road in Pontiac. The discovery was made just after 5 p.m. by a contractor who was working at the home, which is going through foreclosure.

Since she traveled for business, she’d arranged to have her bills paid directly from her banking account.
When the money ran out, the bank moved in.
Sad to think no one cared about her and that her body sat in that garage year after year.
I’d be asking the neighbor[s] who was keeping her lawn mowed all those years, if they knew anything about this.
Very odd.
“Logan says all of her siblings led rather separate lives and rarely kept in touch with each other. “
That seems to be a gross understatement.
.
Bullshite.
My grandfather in Missouri died in 1986 at age 99 and was a lifelong republican. I would put odds on that he has voted democrat in every election in Missouri since 1986.
The one the starts with a “d”?
Similar story a few years ago, also out of the Detroit area.
Older guy, passed away in his easy chair while watching TV. They found his mummified remains several years later, still in the chair. The TV apparently ran and ran until the picture tube blew.
It is sad how often no one seems to notice nor care.
That is exactly how it is done. That is why they were so quick to go to electronic voting it makes it very easy.
Photo ID.
Purple fingers.
Paper Ballots.
Physical presence.
Canada counts the whole country on paper ballots.
They manage to always get a result by morning.
That won’t work here. Americans demand that the election be called 10 seconds after the polls close.
That was because she was still alive at that point.
:sigh:
I removed him from the voter rolls. I wanted him to rest in peace without the thought of someone voting in his name for Obama in 2012.
Another media account claims the woman’s step-father attempted to contact her when he married her mother. His calls went unanswered.
You can’t reach your own (pick one): daughter, step-daughter or sibling for six years and no one bothers to go to Pontiac and knock on the door?
One more thought: First, according to WXYZ-TV, the woman’s mail was sent to a post office box. And we’ll assume the rental for the box was automatically debited from her account, along with the rest of her bills. Six years worth of mail would be quite a stack—boxes and boxes is more like it. Yet, no one at the post office or the UPS store found it unusual that her mail went unclaimed for all those years.
Its odd that her sister didnt wonder what happened for 5 or 6 years.
(((
Based on another piece I saw on this recently, it appears that she and her family had not spoken for years.
I guess it’s odd for those of us who have close family ties. For example, I still have 7 of my 8 siblings living, and there is no way any of us could go unaccounted for for more than a few days.
Logan says all of her siblings led rather separate lives and rarely kept in touch with each other.

Yet she knows that Pia would not have killed herself? What could she possibly know about what could have been going on in Pia’s life?
Imagine that.
Funny how the dead always vote ‘Rat.
She probably paid for the PO box a year in advance. Most likely when the rent on the PO box ran out the post office rented it to someone else. Her mail either was thrown out or as Elvis sang “return to sender, address unknown”.
Thank ya, thank ya very much.
I think it will be found that suicide from ingesting something was the cause. The only hole in my hypothesis is why she chose the back seat of her car.
If she kept her car in an attached garage it would not be unreasonable to keep the keys in the ignition.
IMO, it is not at all odd for a neighbor to go over onto her property while he is doing his own, especially if the lots are not big. The neighbors knew that she traveled a lot.
