Similar story a few years ago, also out of the Detroit area.
Older guy, passed away in his easy chair while watching TV. They found his mummified remains several years later, still in the chair. The TV apparently ran and ran until the picture tube blew.
It is sad how often no one seems to notice nor care.
It is very sad, indeed. I cannot imagine living a life in which there was no one who would miss my presence.
