John McCain says Hillary Clinton would win the White House if the 2016 election were held today

Self-described 'Maverick' Senator John McCain is making waves with his defeatist statements about how formidable Hillary Rodham Clinton will be as a presidential candidate, predicting that she would win if the 2016 election were held in 2014.

'I would bet, my friend, as much as I hate to admit it,' McCain told Piers Morgan during his Thursday night CNN broadcast, 'that right now – this is why we have campaigns – but right now, if the election were tomorrow, Hillary Clinton would most likely be the president of the United States.'

The Arizona pol and 2008 Republican presidential nominee was responding to comments from Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann, who told a columnist that Americans weren't ready for a female president – at least not as much as they were eager to elect an African-American.

I don’t see it, I just don’t. Think about it, The Democrats nominated the most lame-ass, inexperienced, moronic buffoon in order to avoid nominating Hillary. She is the worlds biggest turn-off, hell, she even made Monica Lewinsky look attractive by comparison.

You are correct...there are plenty of egotists in the Dem party.

But none that they can make a rock star out of. I think even the MSM would have a hard time making a rock star out of Elizabeth Warren...even tho they covered for her.

Hillary is all they have. AND I do think she will be hard to beat.

“Fame is a double edged sword”

That is true. But much to my chagrin I know lots of women that will vote for a woman.

I don’t get it.

Anyone remember the joint interview they did in Baghdad green zone in 2004 or thereabouts I think. I remember watching and thinking how creepy it was because they seemed so oblivious as to what was going on.

Demonic-rats will unite behind her, but our side despises her, so all we have to do is nominate a true CONSERVATIVE in every sense of the word. No damn, moderates and no retread, old men. We have youth on our side to go up against that tired, ill-mannered, old bag.

I don’t see it, I just don’t.

Neither does any person who takes the time to engage their analyzer and really think about this. Too many people seem to operate on fear and emotion regarding Hillary - even on our side.

Based on what fact based, reasoned analysis?

In 2008, the Democrats passed her over for a little known Senator who was still wet behind the ears, after she'd been angling for the job for almost a decade.

Despite overwhelming name recognition and fame, she was edged out by a two bit nobody from Chicago.

And you're still convinced she's invincible? Take a good look at her sometime. She looks twenty years older than her true age, and really sick. She's worn out, friend. She's probably not even healthy enough to withstand the rigors of a national presidential campaign. She certainly won't be in another three years.

“nominate a true conservative”

It will be interesting to see if we can do that.

I’m all in to give it our best effort.

I don’t think she is invincible. I work with a couple of Dems that wanted to vote for her but were blocked in 2008. I’m sure this happened all over the country. Obama was the candidate of choice. Seems that they may be more overtly aggressive in getting their desired candidate nominated.

The Pubs are more subtle and don’t use bully tactics. Well...unless the overt demolition of Newt.

If the Dems decide it is her turn..it will be. And the MSM will pile on.

She's a worn out, drunken old hag, with more baggage than LAX. If the libs want to put their money on that flea bitten dog, I say go right ahead. It'll be a landslide for the Republicans.

Yep, me, too.
If we do, we win.
If not, it’s likely over for our Republic.
We’ll go to mob rule.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict that Hillary is not gonna even be the rat nominee.

We live in the age of Obama, who was packaged to us like an American Idol contestant.

Hillary looks like the crypt keeper’s great-grandma and women hate each other, these 2 factors will combine to doom her, if she evens runs. Obama stole her turn and her place as worst President ever.

RE :”I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict that Hillary is not gonna even be the rat nominee.”

McConnell was asked a few years ago about Hillary being the Dem nominee and he responded :

She is one of the original Golden Girls”

I thought it was pretty funny.

Much as I despise McCain, he’s right on this one. If the election were held today, she win in a walk. The GOP is far too weak and fractured right now. It has two years to right the ship, but no way would it be competitive in a Presidential election right now.

One argument people keep bringing up is the possibility of a blood clot or stroke last year. The thing is, I think that fall was fake, so she wouldn’t have to testified for Benghazi. Anyway, I would be surprised if she is still with us in 2017, let alone 2021.

Good thing the election is in 2016 and not today—I predict Hillary will not even run (she has too much to hide)—The issues then will be things we can’t even think of today—its a fast changing world. I believe whats going to happen will surprise a great many in the next 3 years.
